I'm listening to the raws right now and I gotta say, I love her personality. I'm terrible at committing to releasing but I might do a few teaser chapters if I get the chance.

I'm still a little iffy about the age gap (over 40 years, isn't it?) but this seems pretty amusing.

Prince Reyford from this story breaks off the engagement with Carol because he loves another girl, and he's heard that she's been committing atrocious deeds towards Mary (his love)... First off, he has no proof. Of anything. He doesn't give Carol a chance to defend herself, and all poor Carol has been doing up til now is studying her butt off to become a good Queen and keeping away from the Prince to uphold her honor (she has to be pure for her bridal night). She doesn't have a clue who Mary is at all.

Next, he accuses her in front of EVERYBODY. Again, with no proof. Slandering her good name and discarding her due to his own brainlessness and selfishness, he doesn't even consider that he's tearing her reputation to shreds so that no other noble will want to marry her again, making her position as a duke's daughter pretty much useless in marriage talks.

Thirdly, he's a plain douche. Ever since they met, he's been a douche to her. He's arrogant too, believing that "learning that Mary was getting closer to him, Carol was driven mad by jealousy and tried to push her down stairs (among other things)." Even when he's apologizing, the reason he gives for apologizing is because he loves another girl, not that he's made her do everything in vain, or for slandering her reputation. What a jerkwad.

The guy from Common Sense at least had evidence and witnesses and stuff, since she cleary DID do those things.

Yep, definitely.
So far, the King and Queen seemed pretty decent though (in what little they were mentioned), so idk how he turned out that way. Lack of discipline I guess.
