If you theorize that many of the world's big events are caused as a result of people finding a conduit to repress their true inner desires (for example: our 'Second Sister' here who plotted to take over the throne when she really wanted a gender change), then perhaps allowing everyone to express their desires freely would really make the world more peaceful.

In other words, trading one set of chaos (of the more violent type) for another set of chaos (the psychological type). xD

It I'd because Shitty Church accuse Mist Country colluding with the demon And Roland who in church care as facing execution.
In order to save Roland , karwenz sided with demon in order to save Roland
(Thats all I remember, i might be wrong in some part)
If I not remember wrong karwenz failed to save Roland , and he is reincarnated as Rolo and meet with Elisa,adam ,Margaret, and Einz.
Later he manage to investigate the true cause and mastermind of incidents, and cause him to become lich and study under harloy before becoming Lord Yongye
