lol Roland, he basically followed a random thread he came across only to find a whole tangled mess.

This is great, in many series, the first part is great but things become worse with time, but so far this arc has been really promising. The dynamics with the Auland Empire so far has been much more promising than with the Beastmen tribe: the beastmen were basically dumb brutes to roll over. Here, however, Roland lacks the accumulated might he held in the underground world, personal power and most crucially, extra time to deal with all the other catastrophes coming up. This means that even though he wants to troll the Auland Empire, he also needs it as an ally to deal with more pressing issues. It helps that although Darsos has his faults, compared to others, he has been portrayed as relatively intelligent and open to reason.

Or maybe I just already feel sorry enough for him because of his 'love life' and don't think he needs to be trolled That much more. xD
