There's a lot of negative review for this novel but personally I think this novel is quite good so far...

 

yeah speed is better than other novel in that website and most people kinda stay away from this novel because some called this novel is Racist XD

 

actually,people were rightish about the racism...but it wasnt to hurt anyone. It was a chinese stereotype.

 

I think I disagree on the racism because my perspective is skewed... there are far more racist novels so this one doesn't seem too racist

 

well other xianxia normaly call mc trash but because this novel is modern setting and mc is have dark skin they call mc ugly black or wtf they think I personaly don't think to much is normal for them to mock mc because usualy Chinese people have white jade like skin and mc have black skin

 

There is no racism in this novel, the MC is the same race as everyone else. The MC has skin color discoloration due to an injury at birth.

 

The novel is quite good only the super straight forward personality of the MC make it sour..

Plus there is no racissm in here.. the dark skin and sleeping disfunction of his is only temporary and was a side effect of his newfound strength

 

Racism? All because he had a charcoal black skin during birth? There are so many real life charcoal black Chinese, the label of racism doesn't fit.

Besides, you folks don't know Lord Justice Bao, do you?

 

Wow that quite a twist.... didn't expect Lu Qiji hold Heart of Pheonix and she is reincarnated? an enemy of the dragon at the same time... looks like romance is impossible between them....

 

what are the odds....I mean phoenix and the dragon raised by the others biological parents

 

i made a blunder thinking the old thread was deleted.

but i just want to voice a 'rant' here.

The phoenix just went to Nujiang and ranted at the dragon, and to an extension, Li Mu Yang.

I'm like "wadafaq is wrong with this psycho woman? Li Mu Yang did nothing to her nor her family, did he?"

 

technically its the grandfather that did.....she is the swapped out baby. She is really surnamed Li and not Lu

 

true, we know that there were strong hints that she is the Li that was swapped.

But Li Muyang doesn't know it.

All he knows is that there's this one woman that irks him, and he doesn't know why this woman is going all out just to kill him.

and speaking of which: i just read the reviews, and i'm totally baffled with the "this is a racist" novel.

I mean, really. baffling.

I changed my review to address some concerns there, but seriously, even up to chapters 130, racism doesn't happen. Species-hating, probably. Racism? No.

 

people are calling racism cause Li Muyang is "black" but its not really racism since [sounds like] black people don't exist in that world

 

Yeah I addressed this but it seems like the damage has been done, especially by the TL;DR Google generation who can't be bothered to read and just like the comments or reviews.

 

100++ chapters in, and the story is still as fascinating as ever.

Lu Qiji hates Li Muyang to the core. I wonder why? Does she realize that the person she had replaced is Li Muyang, and therefore fears if Li Muyang is looking after to "reclaim" ? (which I doubt Li Muyang would even bother to, he just wants a peaceful life with his sister, and mother).

 

Does anyone read up to date with raw? Can you spoil about romance? what happen to Cui Xiaoxin? Who is the heroine ? Cui Xiaoxin or Lu Qiji?

 

looks like in one of the last chapter its partly cause she is a phoenix and in this story phoenix and dragons are enemies to each other
