The ML shows up in chapter 4 (the 'master' who saw her ruthless side after the MC woke from her new body). Some spoilers I can recall is that Spoiler - The MC is disguised as a man (she even has a fake adams apple) maybe like 60-70% of the time the entire story (imo). Even in the current new arc, after awhile she goes back to disguising herself as man. She was constantly compared to beautiful girls, when I say compared I mean even her disguise as a man looked more beautiful than the girls. - People thought people were going homo for the MC (some called the MC a male pet), especially seeing how the ML is towards her since she has yet to expose her gender until she was being introduce to his grandmother during a party to prove she is in fact a woman. Spoiler Someone tried to frame her saying she is dirty and sleep with other men, but of course the ML didn't believe it because in the video, the person had a male body, the ML already knew the MC is female so it was quickly debunked and proven. They also found out the one trying to frame the MC was the one who slept with the guy in the video so.. - MC's 'family' never seen her actual appearance. They only seen the ugly appearance she had before she recovered herself. Her 'father' and 'brother' believed that this one well known powerful doctor was tricking the MC into giving her treasures to him but in reality, this 'powerful doctor' is her when she's in her male disguise (LMAO). - Father and son believe that MC is only strong because of a treasure left behind by her mother (which is completely false), they try to trick her with affection in order to get it, but she keeps telling them there is no such treasure. - I think only the older sister found out about the MCs male identity. - So far, majority of the MCs love rivals had a very bad end. Spoiler AKA dishonor and death. - Not every male they meet becomes a love interest towards the MC, especially cause she is disguised as a man. Even when they see her true appearance, their relationship stays as trusted friends. MC makes female friends too. - MC master is a strong yet slightly drunk old man she met when she killed off a assassin. As you can already tell, he likes to drink. MC was able to save her life by offering him a drink she produced cause he was slightly angry that she broke his bottle of booze. Her master seems to also be one of the strongest people in the higher realm according to the MLs uncle who was scared of the master since the master didn't like how the uncle seems to be disapproving towards his beloved disciple and ML's relationship. After the incident at the MCs wedding, the master fell into depression and self blame for having to leave before the time of when the event took place and failing to protect his disciple. Spoiler: MC's 'Twin' Brother MC is not blood related to anyone in the Nalan family. Her mother was claimed dead but no body was claimed. The MC knows she has a twin brother but found out the 'brother' from the Nalan family who was disgusted by her isn't even her brother or blood related to the Nalan family either, he was adopted. The MC later discovered that her TRUE twin brother was still alive, and rescued him after finding him to be in a extreme horrible condition, hidden in a room in her 'fathers' studies. At first, she wasn't sure who he was until she took off a helmet that was covering his face. When he saw the MC face, he felt at ease. He was tortured daily and had his blood extracted (apparently it's not normal blood and can be used in medicines) so the father can make medicine. He had been tortured to the point he could not even speak properly nor move his body well. With the help of her master, she was able to figure ways to help him become stronger against and reclaim more intelligence. I believe his first words was "sister"? Basically, his mind was like a child's afterwards. They later replace the MCs brother with the fake brother. She disguised him as the real brother so that when their 'father' showed up, he abused and extracted blood from him. Later when the MC finally destroyed the Nalan home, the 'father' found out that his favored son was the one he had just abused not too long ago and grieved at his death. Spoiler: Nalan Family's Fate Her younger sister became married to a fat man. She tried to get the MC drugged and raped by her soon to be husband on the wedding day instead of her, but the MC found out her plans and had the sister drugged so she was weak and her powers were sealed so she couldn't fight back. She was not a favored woman after being married to him. When being sent away by him and being raped by another man, she grabbed onto a jade item she got from her mother which helped her re-obtain some of her strength and killed the man. She then wanted revenge. She beat up and captured her husband and killed her father in law (don't exactly remember) and left the resident. She then found her mother wandering outside nearly dying, begging to see her daughter. She rescues her mother, asking what had happened and if it was the MC who had harmed her. The mother explains how her husband and older daughter was indifferent from saving the younger sister and when the older sister was fighting with the MC, the older sister actually used her as a human shield but the MC had saved her. She then begged her not to take revenge against the MC and then finally died after knowing that her daughter was finally fine. The younger sister from there on out decided to forgive the MC, but wanted revenge against her father and older sister. Her 'father' was basically sold to people to have his body used for drugs (the people found enjoyment in doing this). She later goes and captures him as well. For the older sister, she was able to get the older sister captured and sent to a brothel (?) as she secretly watched and mocked her. A man later shows up claiming to look for the MC, the older sister found out that this man is actually the MCs real father and tried to pretend to be the MC. Obviously, the man and his subordinates knows she's lying but took her in in order to find clues about the MC and his beloved women. The older sister tells him that her mother is dead but there is no grave for her cause her body was never found. She also tells him she has a brother but she doesn't know where he is. The younger sister saw what was happening and was not pleased. A person shows up near her asking if she wants power, since she still wants revenge against her older sister she agrees. Before the MC father left, he then felt a dark presence but didn't think much about it then left while the subordinates didn't want to give the older sister any respect, so when she fall downs some stairs they didn't help her at all and mocked her. She was later taken to the MCs father home where when she saw the grandma she acted out that she was her granddaughter. When she left, the subordinates tell her the situation which made the grandma extremely happy knowing that she has 2 grand children but also had them go search for them. Edit : (7.10.17) The sister contacted the MC about having a trade off, her master whom who apparently knew her wanted to meet her in exchange if the MC gave her older sister to her. The MC ends up agreeing, the older sister ends up being captured by the sister. She still has their father and her husband alive in a barrel so she told the sister she will soon be joining them since they've been so lonely. The sister looks like she'll still keep contact with the MC time to time because apparently, her new master who was the dark mysterious figure turned out to be her ex-fiance that her mother had poisoned that the MC had saved. Basically, he's one of the MC's friends/loyal servants and even though he is no longer human, his loyalty towards the MC is still strong. - The ML is a prince (?) in a higher world. His parents are dead, I believe he discovered that his uncle actually sent people to kill his father. Don't know if the grandma already knew because when he mentioned it she didn't punish the uncle. The grandma looks nice and gentle in front of the ML but she schemes. She later contributed to a horrible scheme that lead to Spoiler: WARNING BIG SPOILER the destruction of many of the MCs friends, innocent peoples lives, some spirit pets, and made her wedding day hell. Spoiler Before the MC met with the ML in the bridal room, the MC got replaced by the MLs former fiance (?) from the higher world. She was disguised as the MC but the moment the ML put his eyes on her he knew she wasn't the MC and strangled the former fiance to death. I think he also encounters his grandma but kills her for what she had done. He then went out in search for the MC (his people were unaware of the situation yet until it was too late). An army and strong people (they're been wanting to obtain the MCs origin of wood abilities since the origin of wood is considered to be one of the strongest in the continent and can bring life/healing abilities (she uses this ability later to heal her disciples which takes a great toll on her body and revive one of her friends/spirit pets)) attacked during the MCs wedding so her friends and army who support her (the army belongs to one of her friends Spoiler: some bg history on this friend The MC had previously saved his life when he was very ill to the point that no doctors can save him (according to him). He also wanted revenge against the MCs family but after finding out the MC was from the Nalan family, he held no hate towards her. I believe it also turned out the MCs stepmother was the one who ordered him to get poisoned (he was poisoned not too long after being almost engaged to one of the MCs 'sisters' (she has two sisters), he is extremely loyal to the MC (he also seems to realize his feelings for her but does nothing about it) and in front of his army told them that the MC is their new master (they all were okay with it seeing how strong she was and saved many of them medical wise). Another reason why he is loyal is because she took revenge for his parents after a incident which lead to them being captured and tortured to death while he went crazy. The MC found him but he actually soon died after yet the MC still felt his soul (?) in the body. With the help of the MC's master, she was able to revive him in her space. The MC wakes up to find herself almost being assaulted by people but manages to escape. She goes out to find out there was battles going on and road on her dragon (was in her space, she got him later from an inheritance) and saw her friends army die as well as her friends which lead to her being hurt emotionally. One of her friend/ML subordinates, Suzaku(?) (this is a different Suzaku, the previous one got replaced with a new girl) before dying, she told the MC that she successfully saved and hidden the MCs twin younger brother to safety, then finally died. The MC was filled with grief and rage. In the end, the majority of her friends died, and the ML knew of her grieving after there was an explosion caused by the MC's dragon (he did it to save the MC), he tried to get to her as soon as possible while fighting individuals who gets in his way. When they were together, it was by a cliff (?). They were fighting against an elder who has been trying to capture the MC often throughout the story. The fight ended with both the MC and the elder falling off the cliff and falling into lava. The ML grieved and thought she had died. His cold poison (I thought she cured it but apparently it wasn't completely cured yet?) acted up to the point where coldness spread throughout his body and actually covered the entire city in ice. His subordinates found out something was wrong and went to finally check the bridal chamber to find the dead fiance's body and no ML in site, indicating something had happened. They eventually found the ML, but after what had happened, he decided he didn't want to live anymore now that the MC was gone so he stabbed himself (?) (I'M NOT 100% SURE ON THIS) and surround his body in a ice coffin. The MC was unconscious floating in lava until a boy showed up and picked her up and was awed by the MCs beauty as she cried crystal like tears. The MCs space acted up, opening a portal (?) leading him and the MC to be sucked in. Spoiler: Back in the past? The MC wakes up to find herself in a small home. She was very weak and was unable to properly go into her space. Only her bird spirit pet was able to come out (he can talk too surprisingly).A child shows up where the MC asks where she was and other questions. The child mentions the MCs brother which confuses the MC. She then sees a boy she does not recognize. After the boy wakes up, he asks who the MC was.. then asked who he was. The MC then claimed him as her brother (I'm going to call him Wei Zhi(?) cause apparently that's what google translate wants). Later, the mother of the child shows up, asking if the MC can take the hide her daughter and escape. The MC, Wei Zhi, and the girl watched people come take the girls mother away, demanding for the little girl. The MC later sneaks into the woman's village, but saves a man and his son first. The mother had died and the son had just died the moment the MC came. She saved him after realizing he had malaria (it's a disease you can get from mosquito that causes fevers, headache, vomiting). The man and the boy saw the MC as god, literally (LMAO). The MC goes into the village and sees the majority of the people suffering from malaria. They thought it was the curse of the gods, therefore they had to preform human sacrifices to appease them according to a witch doctor in the village, which was why they wanted the little girl. The MC confronts the witch doctor basically telling her the real situation but the witch doctor doesn't believe her. The man and child came, claiming that the MC had cured them, making people lean more towards the MC than the witch doctor. They begin to start a fight until Wei Zhi shows up and slaughters them, causing people to fear him. He was worried the MC would be scared of him too but of course, she wasn't. The MC then convinces the people they had to move to a different area because they'll keep getting sick in their current home. She finds a place where it has got spirit energy and where they can obtain food more easily. The little girl was then taken as the Wei Zhi apprentice. After saving people, the MC went out with Wei Zhi and talked to the little girl, explaining to her about how to get stronger and helped her release energy from her body. She then gives the girl a storage ring filled with goods. All of a sudden, a light surrounds the MC and Unknown. The little girl screams so people came and saw the MC looking like a beautiful goddess, being absorbed by the light, and disappeared. People bows and later formed a statue of her and her bird (I feel like this will come to play later). The village later causes a huge changes in the future. (I believe the MC also discovered she went thousands(?) of years into the past) Spoiler: What Happened After? A man was taking a bath in a hot spring when suddenly, a woman appeared out of no where and fell in the water. The woman is the MC (LMAO). The man thought it was an assassin or another woman trying to seduce him but he found her to be beautiful and actually felt something towards her but didn't know why. This man, is the ML who woke up with no memories of his past. He still has his wedding ring on with the MC's and his initials on it. The MC wakes up in a room but was unsure what was going on. I don't remember when exactly, but at some point she was able to go back into her space and talk to her spirit pets. I think she also discovered she can actually revive some of her old friends in her space which she planned to do later due to reason. The MC does not discover the ML is the ML (I think he wears a mask), he feels familiar yet unfamiliar to her. She later is assigned the new Suzaku (I believe this is the previous Suzaku one who later idolized the MC in her past life (she was also assigned to the MC back then as well and seen the MC more of a master than the ML being her master), but reincarnated again as Suzaku). Suzaku felt familiar towards the MC, the MC was shocked to find out her name was Suzaku and was sadden to be reminded of her death. The ML claimed the MC to be his woman which enraged her because she tells him she is a married woman which makes him angry (LOL). He seals her abilities so now she can't escape. The ML also slowly remembers bits and pieces of the MC but believes that the MC he sees is a reincarnation(?) of the MC in his memories. So far he hasn't figured it out yet. The MC later wanders outside to see a animal(?) and fearful maids. The animal was Gluttony(?). The MC felt familiar towards him and walk up to him. The maids were scared cause they thought the animal was going to eat her but was surprise to see the MC was able to pet him. The MC decided to make food for him after reminiscing about a friend she had have who was similar to him that loves to eat. He was unable to understand what she had said but could see the sadness in her eyes. After making food for him, the ML shows up and took some of her food too but she was angry cause he snatched it. Later in her room, the MC was in her space talking to the bird after finding out how they can finally escape (they removed the seal on the MCs body by then). Right when the MC escape, the ML tried to stop it but was unable to after the MC suddenly vanished in thin air. He was enraged thinking that she had help thinking another man was involved so he had the entire continent go look for her after sending around her picture. A man later sees the picture and freaks out after finally remembering the MCs mother(?) and wanted to find the MC before the ML did. MC wakes up later in a forest. She was about to be attacked by a monster till someone easily slaughtered it. It was Wei Zhi. He tells her where ever she goes, he'll follow. She then disguises herself as a handsome boy. They then encounter people being chased and saves them. She then finds out they're her mothers actual family because she heard their names. The MC got their trust and ask about her mother but they didn't really want to talk about it so they asked why the MC wanted to know. She tells them that the woman actually died and she had saved her twin children. The grandfather was first sadden but was excited to hear she had children and asked where they were. The MC said they are in hiding right now so she will get them later because right now it's not safe for them. They go into the city where the MC does a doctor test where apparently she got extremely high rank but people found it hard to believe cause she was only 19 (?) (btw, I think the MC found out she is now 10 yrs into the future of her current life I think? But she didn't age since you know, time travel). Later a couple was in front of a building having problems, the woman was about to give birth but the doctors in the building said her child is a stillborn but she refuses to believe it. The MC decides to help and takes the woman in. The man threatens if his wife dies he won't let this go. The MC does a emergency C section and saves the child. The child was alive, and the wife almost died but was saved. The husband came and the doctors previously came claiming the MC couldn't be a doctor. The man yells at the doctors that they are quacks (heard by the public) and that both his wife and child was saved. The MC shows an identifier she got from her doctors test showing how superior her abilities were and made the doctors in disbelief and the man to apologize to the MC for not believing her before. He and his wife tells the MC that if the MC needs any favors, she can go to them. before leaving, the MC gives them rare spirit fruit (she easily grows them in her space). This is as far as I got in the raws. I only spoiled mainly what had happen way later in the story, only reason why I didn't describe what happened previously was cause I don't really know how to spell anyone's names that the MC encounters. The story is still ongoing.
Here's some little spoilers on the new chars introduced so far in the story (since I finally get to see how their names are) and some that relates to them. Spoiler: Wet nurse Chen She is viewed like another mother to the MC because she'd been with her throughout her suffering. One day when the MC returned, she found blood and bodies of her servants (they were previously bought slaves) and Wet nurse Chen whom had died. She was able to save her servants by sewing back their bodies together (like intestines was out of their stomach but she did surgery so it was fine) but sadly Wet nurse Chen was dead before she even arrived. The main reason they discovered her home was attacked was because people came to kidnap her fox child servant. Later once everything was settled, the MC selected a place in the woods to place Wet nurse Chen's grave to which she visits time to time throughout the story. Her servants come as well because they viewed her as family because they all felt like they had a bond with each other. Edit : Forgot to mention, wet nurse Chen is actually one of the MC's mothers loyal servants, when the MC's mother, wet nurse Chen, and another servant of the mother fell into the lower realm, wet nurse Chen damaged her dantian so she basically became nearly wasted. Spoiler: Fox Child (not introduced yet) The MC encounters the child after helping save the child and her brother. The brother decided to leave momentarily and had his sister stay with the MC. She didn't want to at first but she was finally convinced. The MC slowly helps her strength get stronger. The unique thing about this child is that she has multiple tails to which the MC tells her to hide. The problem with these tails is that if other humans saw it, they would want to tear it off her for profit. Seeing how kind the MC is towards her, she trusts the MC and hides her tail. Sadly, that doesn't stop her from later getting abducted. The MC finds where she was at after slaughtering a few well know family homes in order to get answers. Outside of the city (?) she found a underground place. She killed off the guards and entered. As she goes in, she hears 2 people talking about the fox child. They talked about how they not only removed her tails, but peeled off her skin. Of course, the MC was enraged and had the 2 men die by ripping off their entire skin off their bodies. She then slaughters all the guards and finds the fox child in horrible condition and nearly dying. Before she died, the MC formed a master and servant blood contract with her which not only saved her life, but made their life connected (I think went like if the MC dies, she dies, if the fox child dies, the MC dies). She brings the fox child into her space where her other spirit pets were so they slowly helped her recover there. She later does reclaim her previous appearance and tails. After this incident, she drove herself to grow stronger (decently good at causing a blood house) and later developed a skill where she can hypnotize people into telling their inner most thoughts which comes into play in one scene. The master servant bond was removed later because the MC wanted the fox child to grow stronger with her people. (I forgot what they were called-- I think they were similar to demons (animal/people? but it wasn't called beast men)) The MC knew that with this contract, it was slightly limiting the fox child's strength so she decided to leave her behind. The fox child absolutely refused but ends up accepting it, declaring that when she gets stronger, she'll return by the MC's side. Spoiler: Fox Child's Brother (not introduced yet) They discovered that the fox child's brother went MIA after finding one of his items (I think it was a stone). They found out he was at a institute, so the MC had to get accepted in order to get in. She later of course does and with later finds him hidden inside a house (with the help of his sister sensing him) but his mind was nearly crazy from all the torturing. She found out he was kidnapped so that the people (forgot who but they were just a minor char) did experiments on him. He was near death and she brought him into her space where his sister took care of him. She also discovered a snake woman whom she saved before finding the brother. They see each other again when the MC was in a forest trapped in a fog with a group of students because of a plan another student had that wanted to kill the MC. The snake woman viewed the MC as her savior so she tried to help the MC escape. Spoiler: Baby Egg The baby egg later evolves.. not into a bird, but some weird thing that has tentacles on it's head.. It often wants to come out but the MC said it has to transform to look more human like. The ML see's the egg call the MC mother, so without the MC knowing (until later), he convinces the egg to call him father. The egg's intelligence never gets any better so it forever acts like a child. It also slowly befriends the MCs other spirit pets as the story continues and cries for them when they get hurt. - ML reappears in chapter 24 (already out)
It was when the egg was out of her space was when he saw it (at least from what I recall). She often takes out the egg because it likes to eat her meals in and out of the space. She can also bring him into her space too. The only time he was able to force his way into her space was when Spoiler the MC was trying to escape from his home when finding methods to get out with her spirit contracts. This was during the time he lost his memories and she thought he was someone else and was trying to force her to become his wife.
Technically they did at the hot spring incident but they didn't know each other's idenity at the time. Spoiler: Suspicions She believes he's the ML in chapter 2160. Spoiler: What led up to it? It wasn't just his physical appearance, it was also his subordinates whom had the same exact names as the MC's previous friends/servants from 10 years ago. Some even had the same attitude as well as appearances which made her want to confront the ML about his idenity. Spoiler: Confirming She tries to confirm this by asking him about their matching engagement rings with their names on it. Spoiler: ML's struggles He does indeed have the ring, but he found it on his previous life's grave(?). But he didn't want to tell the MC where he obtained it because he was extremely jealous of his past self and wanted the MC for himself. After the MC confirm believing he was the ML, she calls him by his old name but he tells her to call him by his current name because he doesn't to be called by his apparent rivals name (they got the same first name but a different surname). Spoiler: Memories The problem here is the ML and his servants all woke up in the higher realm in their supposed original bodies but they had their memories from the past gone. All they felt was a familiar feeling towards the MC which is why no one figured out right away each other's identities. It's the same for the ML. The only time his memories came back momentarily was when he went to his and the MCs grave in the lower realm where he saw a vision of a girl saying "Yu I love you!" (Yu is his first name). The issue is that there was a legend(?) that claimed if they recall their memories from their past life, a great disaster will fall on them and their loved ones(?). I could be remembering this wrong but the ML believes the MC is the reincarnation of his lover from before he lost his memories(?) since she was claimed dead but doesn't believe the man she's calling for is him when in reality it is, which is why he calls her by her real name (which he learns from the ring) rather than her alias.
As of now, no. Currently, he saw an image of a man who looked just like him but his eyes were more gentle, and beside him was out lovely MC which startles him. Afterwards, the story went back on the MC so there's no mention about the ML's situation ATM (I think it was said he has to be locked in this the area he's trapped in for 3 months(?) to get stronger. Edit : Turns out, the ML that was with the MC was a fake copy of the ML from the higher realm, this this is why he had no memories. The fake is suppose to find whoever had the origin of wood to use to cure his cold poison/body problems. This makes the MC heart broken because she felt like she was lied to since they approached her due to trying to obtain the origin of wood like everyone else and her feelings were stepped on because she believed their feelings were not genuine.
I believed that she was strangled to death by the ML in the bridal chamber where she was disguised as the MC but couldn't fool him.
I can only think of 3 people who I guess tried to "woo her" Spoiler: Friend, Obsessed, Rapist 1. First is her room mate, Xuan Mu(?), who later did find out she is a girl and ends up being her shadow(?) (this is way after the school arc though) I think it's like a bodyguard but connected with a contract..? It feels somewhat like a Dark Wei, but closer. Shadows basically can't betray their contract owners or they'll die. He is someone who is very cold and kicks out anyone who tries to room with him but lets the MC come in. During the school arc, he slowly warms up to the MC and tries to protect her from schemers, a guy who at first had friendly relations with the MC began to hate her because he notices Xuan Mu's feelings towards the MC but can obviously see Xuan Mu's feelings is hurt due to seeing the ML with the MC, making him scheme against her (if you haven't guess by now, the schemer is a homo). He actually considered the ML as his rival when he encountered the ML showing up in their dorm time to time. 2. The red dressed boy, Wei Zhi(?), who fell into the lava when he saw the MC floating in it (don't know why he even did this) and lost his memories, she tries to make him into a more brotherly figure but later for him, it blossomed into love and then obsession.. his subordinate is Xuan Mu. When Xuan Mu found out Wei Zhi claimed the MC as his, he was startled but cannot do anything against Wei Zhi because Wei Zhi is as strong as the ML. Wei Zhi is very crazy, he tortured people and killed people who went against the MC when he found out. The latest thing he had done was actually scheme against the MC so that the people close to her would abandon her so he can go by her side and make her feel like he was the only person she can trust that will love and protect her. Regardless of seeing her with the ML, he is very possessive and jealous. He will not forgive anyone who hurts the MC, even himself, but even with this, he still self proclaims the MC belonging only to him. He encounters her when she's in female clothing. 3. Third is a creepy pedophile rapist, Lou Shen Ming(?). He is viewed highly by society but when the MC went again him, it made parents of her students and others go against the MC because they believe he's more reliable than a 19(?) year old teacher (MC becomes a teacher later and has many students who gets attached to her as if she is their own parents). He meets the MC in her male disguise. He admired and lust for her when he saw how intelligent and powerful she was, making him desire her. The MC knows of his deeds after 3 of her students in particular told her about what had happen to their friend who was his former student and had to watch him get raped in front of them when they couldn't do anything. Later, he drugs her and saw her female appearance which didn't help at all with his creepiness. He believes that with his status, power, and wealth, she would willingly come by his side, and if not, he'll force her. He was about to rape her when she got out of his poison and she and Xuan Mu killed him, or so she thought. He revives and was excited even with the MC being able to kill him once. He tried to scheme more by taking over one of his students body to get the MC again. I might be remembering this wrong, but I think Wei Zhi killed him in the end. The rest of the people who 'admire' her stays as admirers and doesn't try to woo her, but tries to be worthy of her to be her considered her friend or someone to stand by her side as one of her people (not like a lover). An example of this is how one of her friends who has feelings towards her but has a servant and master contract with her (this was the only way to keep him alive) had recently 'come back' and saw how powerful the MC was. He wanted to become stronger to be worthy to be able to protect her as her friend and servant.
when does she leave the Nalan home and at what chapter does she find her brother? Also what happened to her mother and did her father find her in the end?
