LCD The Lazy Swordmaster

I just came back after reading Dungeon Defense and have this mentality problem too....

I honestly thought it was an O.K to kill Nainiae(?) and the Priestess to protect his lazy and lax life. Was. But I kinda want to see him in action and get some spotlight, just to see the other's faces--especially his brothers and dad--as the shout in wonder "How the F?!" so this turn of event is actually a good sign to me. Unless he somehow escape with his Kawarimi no Jutsu again *sigh*

 

I do too, but it might turn into like a standard story at that point. Which is something I do not want cause I like this unique little spin on the hero being in the shadows.

 

I know that he's tired and got very stressed to the max from his past life as a hero. But damn, dunno why but his personality were always make me annoyed each time I read further

Truly, best threat indeed. Author-san did a really great job this chapter imo.

It was a terrifying smile that felt like a warning.

I agree that his personality might annoy some people, that's unavoidable. Well, he annoyed me from time to time too. But, well I kinda get how he feels. Won't you expect some rest after doing such a heavy charity-work(Being a hero, kill the demon lord, save the world, etc)?

This is just me voicing my agreement on being lazy *tehee~*

 

I really don't know if Riley wants to do anything or anything at all with all the random plots

The cliff is making me anxious for some reason which is pissing me off. I hope he doesn't get dragged into some situation.

If you want to be lazy then be lazy. Don't run around the city exposing crime. Don't create dangerous battles and take your mother to them and then complain that she might be in danger. I generally can't stand paper tiger MCs. That are quick to threaten people but then never kill them. That somehow get dragged into doing all the things that they don't want to.

 

? I feel like you're reading something different that us lol. I don't think there was a single event he "created dangerous battles". Literally every time he just watches and only interferes if he mother is "in danger" or would get tangled up in the crossfire whether its disturbing her or hurting her.

And paper tiger MC's? He already killed a bunch of people right off that bat in the story.

Do I need to explain this to you? He took the crippled girl to mage tower, freed the people there, and then gave her directions to expose these things to the temple. Thus the entire battle with the head mage was something he created. He then brought his mother to the battle before complaining that it was taking too long and his mother might be endangered. None of the stuff at the mage tower had anything to do with him. There was no reason for him to get involved.

He killed a bunch of people that were clearly his enemies which means nothing. He hasn't killed people who create trouble for him by exposing him. Threatening the priestess or crippled girl and then not killing them when it came down to it would make him a paper tiger. He hasn't qualified as one yet in case you didn't catch that.

 

I like his motivations. It is something I would do as well (if I cared that much for apples).

That would be my euphoria.....

I would like to learn that too btw....So I can raise my laziness lvl....
And that was one good way foreshadowing a new character really....

 

So, anyone have a guess of this "Rascal"s identity?

 

I wish the author weren't so lazy with names as well.

Cripes, I'm bad enough at remembering names without the author recycling a handful of letters for the names of all the main male characters. >_<

'Rascal' is probably a magician companion from his previous life.

 

hahahaha i exactly have the same thought with the rascal and the names

 

I hope it's that dragon the priestess wanted him to kill.

 

It still is better than Chinese, Korean or Japanese names.

 

Glad I'm not the only one xD tho it's only a wishful thinking~
Companion from the previous world sounds possible, but the author better give a good explanation on how did the "Rascal" managed to somehow reincarnated too
