Recently, I have been thinking about the 2010 version of The Myth starring Hu Ge as Yi Xiaochuan and thought about a possible Sequel/spin-off. This new story will follow Yi Xiaochuan as he lives throughout Ancient China and getting involved other historical event like the Three Kingdoms Period, rise of Tang Dynasty, helping Xuanzang/Tang Sanzang/Tang Seng/monk from Journey to the West(real person) travel to India and back, etc. I think it will be kind of interesting.
But the immortal pill only ensured he'll have a long life, doesn't mean he's invincible and can't be killed. If it's just gonna be another time travel sequel, that idea would be very boring imo
If i remeber correctly there once an emporer who at an immortal pill which was made from mercury. Which back duing that time mercury was thought to be holy and made people immortal.
God that show made me sad first potential female lead dies saving the mc, second one her sister due to jealousy becomes mcs opposition, and third one dies at the end despite them uniting a millenia later. The writer must be a pervert no happy ending and the mc gets cucked.
