    So...its me again.
    I was just wondering what the reading list actually does and how one would go about using it.
    Like i followed all the directions but...whats it for?
    Can i add a series i read and will it just put updates on the Reading List page and if so how do I go about adding series instead of manually doing each chapter by hand?

    Also thx to the little elf who keeps moving my threads to the proper places, I appreciate you ;)

    you can just check the latest chapter you've read. You can't check everything since the system won't allow you.

    You can only do it manually. I don't even update mine anymore and I even decreased what I'm reading to 2.

    when you @Lachiel and have about 400 series its easier
    and it shows you when it releases

    yeah, some people tend to forget what they're reading if they have a lot listed on their reading list. I don't know if @Lachiel has a perfect memory, but if I have his list, I would forget most of them.

    I like the reading list because of how it highlights releases on the main page.

    Yeah you can set colors so you can see if a series you like has a new release almost instantly best feature in my opinion

    The reading list itself is nice, but I made several tag lists just to keep a more complete record for myself.

    Reading - That's both the normal & one tag list.
    To read - Seems somewhat interesting, might read in the future.
    Completed - Novels i've read until completion, also marked with the reading list.
    Unlikely Reserves - Novels which don't seem that interesting at the moment, but might change.
    Remnants - Novels which definately don't interest in my current state of mind (nothing personal, but all yaoi & serious yuri instantly go there atm)
    Unlinked - Novels which I would read as soon as they get translated, or someone links their translation to this site.

    It's a lot easier to keep track of several hundreds of novels that way, compared to having to manually remember if this new chapter from a novel is something you were interested in or not. Categorize / Organize, and eventually you'll get to it.

    You can go to your reading list and it'll show if there was a new release for any of them.
