    He kept the kiss pure and chaste.

    *The original text said Du Ze tried to keep it pure and “counter-base” which is slang for non-gay. So mentally he’s saying “keeping it pure and no homo!” but I thought it sounded too weird. Let me know if you have an opinion about this. Suggestions about how to say this in English without sounding too weird?

    No homo, he tried to keep the kiss pure and chaste. <--- super weird :cry:

    I think I need to find some English slang/idioms for gay stuff. No joke, I need to translate that...

    Does anyone here have some pretty Chinese names that sound rather androgynous in nature? Main Character type names for maybe a girl? Or a boy I haven't decided yet.
    Also need a male name for a big bad villain. Same last names pls, they're siblings.

    GUYS HELP NEED YOUR OPINIONS.
    writing this transmigration story and like. the main chara transmigrates into the body of the younger sibling with an older doting brother (so I can fulfill my brother complex issues lol). problem is, that older brother was the big bad villain of the cultivation novel they once read. now, should mc be a girl or a guy??? what do you guys think would be more popular?

    Yu Tianyan for big bro using the characters for dominion, sky, and dream

    Yu Tianxi for lil sibling. Pretty sure it goes for either gender. Characters used are dominion, sky, and hope. Was considering naming this one tianmeng tho so the sibs would have matching names but dreams and hope work too :blobxd:

    big bro is currently described as a teen with god-like looks, long black hair, and black robes embroidered with red spider lily designs lol dunno bout protagonist or lil sibling yet...

    For nicknames I would just use the normal xiao so and so or xixi for the lil bro. If you want better nicknames ur gonna have to give me more to work with since unlike English names, chinese nicknames have a reason or backstory to them like a character in a cn novel who doesn't have a single Bai charcter in his name still gets called xiao Bai cause he has white hair or it could be he has really pale skin.

    Long Jinshi with the characters dragon, gold, and world. He's all set for world domination(y)
