-all the weird traps and things in the demon tomb. One trap was a woman's face on the ground and if you stepped on her face... LOL. This weird demon seed/plant that is drawn towards spirit power. The more spirit power you use, the more it grows parasitically until you're dead. Its roots extend towards your brain (and vital areas I think?) over time and will crush it. RIP twisted patriarch guy.

;;w;; our family is kind of isolated in northern america aha we visit them once a decade or so. I can only ask my parents tbh but they've banned me from reading books/manga since high school started so.

 

same! they're in china and im in the us. that time i started to get interested in the chinese language? it was bc i was stuck in rural china with 1 source of internet. that was also the 1st time i was meeting my cousins again in about 10 yrs. i had difficulty surfing the web cause it kept typing out pinyin instead of english! but that computer was only available at my aunt's house so i was screwed for most of the summer i was there since i had to go to my grandparents' house almost every day where there was no internet. then, one of my cousins brought over some of his manhwa and then off i was, begging my younger cousins to read to me like i was back in kindergarten and my teacher was reading to the entire class cause it was story time.....ORZ

I spend time at family houses folding paper and not communicating in words..... wooo drawings (the kids like to gather round and try and wrestle me.....)

 

the one time we visited them was in gr 9, and we were only there for a week. but somehow, my fam managed to miss basically all the cousins since they were vacationing in japan lmao rip

 

i could barely communicate cause my chinese sucked and they said i had a accent which i think is probably my american accent leaking thru....
