In the original timeline what happens to the scum protag? and what happens before ML and MC get together ('cause MC misunderstood right) and how do they make up/clear the misunderstanding?

 

In the original timeline, the protag was OP and had all the cheats and heaven's favor. As for MC and ML's history before transmigration, see my post here.

The process of making up is slow. ML sacrifices a lot (even tearing off bits of his soul to watch over MC) to keep MC safe. MC is confused because his master doesn't seem to favor the protag like he did in the other timeline. Eventually, MC realizes that ML DOES care, he's just good at denial and extremely (excessively) introverted. MC has to push and push to get through ML's tsundere barrier until it finally breaks and they get some words straight. At one point MC even gets stabbed; good thing ML was worried despite himself and went back to check -- he found out that MC was weaker than he let on so the stab did more damage than it should have. His stone face completely broke and he called for emergency help immediately. The doctor lady mentions that it was the first time she'd ever seen him afraid, not to mention to that degree.

 

ayy so the sh*tty protag wasn't killed by the ML in the original timeline? or u mentioned that ML went kinda crazy after MC died so does this mean he DID kill the sh*tty protag??

Nope, ML was too devastated to care about the protag in original timeline. Though when protag tried to use some floppy excuse to explain, he got death glared so hard he shut his trap. ML was fixated on MC and actually was kind of in denial about MC being dead. But as I said, he walked them both off the cliff, both supposedly dead. Then transmigration happens.

Right?! It's super sad, luckily things pick up and are happier once MC and ML make up. They kinda both want to kill the protag but know it's not that easy, since heaven's favor is on his side.

 

Why did ML favored protag in the first timeline? Why does protag's memory keep getting erased?

 

ML favored protagonist because he was tsundere over his feelings for MC. Traditionally, a master/disciple relationship is considered to be parental even if there's no blood relation. So that makes ML's feelings for MC sorta incestuous and forbidden according to those standards. ML thought he was being a dirty old man and kept away from MC to keep his feelings from showing, instead focusing his efforts on the protag in an attempt to ignore them.

Protag's memories kept getting erased because he kept doing stupid things that involved MC. For example, when protagonist almost raped MC and got beaten up by ML, ML erased both MC's and his memories. Then there were some other similar things involving ML showing up (that ML wanted hidden), etc. that caused protag's memory to be erased.

 

Did the MC try to stay away from the ML after the transmigration since he misunderstood and thought the ML wanted him dead?
How did the MC find out or realized that the ML actually does care about him?

 

MC didn't try to stay away, but he didn't draw super close either. His feelings were way too strong for him to truly hate ML, though he was careful about being possibly betrayed (as he believed he was in the previous timeline). Mostly, he was just incredibly hurt.

MC realized because ML slipped up a couple times. Also, ML tore off bits of his soul to watch over MC so many times his health suffered. He might be OP and #1 Immortal, but that doesn't mean soul ripping does nothing to him. I can't really remember, but I think the sect head (who is ML's friend) tells MC this. Then MC begins to realize that maybe ML does care. And MC starts to push boundaries with ML and the more he finds out, the more he realizes that ML always cared about/loved him. ML was just being tsundere and trying to be a model master without (in his opinion) perving on the disciple he raised up from childhood.

 

Actually the reason why ML favored protag was the heaven 's intention tricked him to, he had a divination that made him saw the MC's future which was very terrible, so if he wanted to stop it he had to take protag as disciple, cuz heaven said it was the only way to save MC's fate. Yeah, thats why ML "cares" about protag and teaches him, he even believed protag would bring MC back so he gave protag his sword to help. :3

I dropped this novel, do u know how the end was for MC's friend (don't remember his name) , who was always wearing red and the king of the demon world? i like him but till the part i had read, he's about to die QAQ

 

I skipped and read the ending though I never finished this novel properly either. MC does something like mess around with space/time and the heavens so that their world is no longer bound to the novel's logic -- it becomes a regular world. But in the process, it resets time and people to before the protag's arrival (the protag who no longer exists, I believe). So MC's friend doesn't know him now since they've never met, but he's fine. MC was heartbroken over ML no longer knowing him in this new world, but we find out that somehow ML and some other guy (I think sect head?) still have their memories. MC and ML immediately engage in victory + reunion sex and ignore the sect head guy shouting for them.

I kind of wanna know what happened to the protag in the last life after MC & ML died?... Did everything revealed itself? Was there any justice?... I hope he suffered.... A lot....
