Ok... this chapter made me bleed.
"On the hand, Chu Yang was left spinning on the ground like a gyroscope, and kept rotating until he touched a hundred revolutions. His spinning formed a pit that was hundreds of feet in depth."
So Chu Yang is on the ground spinning and what that sentence made imagine was him, with a hand on the floor acting as a pivot and the rest of the body rotating on that place... wtf... Then he somehow attacks Young Master Yu and then he somehow ends up in the air. I guess Chu Yang could have been spinning like a ballerina, he then somehow attacked and his attack somehow carried him into the sky, but that is quite a bit of bullshit.

And then you have this:
"Young Master Yu had also closed his eyes and-was-since indulged in controlling his breathing." The awkward phrasing aside, does Young Master Yu get off on controlling his breathing? You don't really indulge in breathing, you control it, you meditate, but indulge is the wrong word there.

The translation is decent, but only that. You can read it and get a sense of understanding of the story, but you won't think it is a good story if all of the translation has this quality. I mean, if this had been the quality of translation of the first 294 chapters, there are many who wouldn't have continued reading it and would actually think it was a decent novel at best with a few good moments and a few funny scenes... this is sad. And Qidian is paying for this kind of translation and they don't even have the first 292 chapters of it. It's hilarious. If they make Novel Saga translate the previous chapters whenever they can, they will turn this novel into crap.

 

I agree. If this is the standard for the initial translation, I wouldn't even be a fan. Just like mtl where I can understand what happened minus the brain bleed.

He is complaining about the way Chu Yang acted in that chapter. He went berserk because Young Master Yu insulted his master, which is weird, because Chu Yang is suposed to actually think. He is King of Hell Chu and has done a lot of things to make us think he is really smart, but here it seems like he had a brain fart. Still, iirc things like this have happened before. I can't remember quite clearly when, but I remember there was some discrepancy between the way Chu Yang acted when he was building the "heavenly sword pavilion" and the Bu Tian Pavilion and how he acted afterwards (can't remember when, but I remember thinking it was absurd how Chu Yang is suposed to be smart, but was acting like a dumbfuck. It may have been when he didn't put together that Tie Bu Tian was the girl who visited him and that "he" is actually a girl).

It's not that we didn't understand, it's that we didn't expect him to act that way. He is supposed to be fairly calm and think things true, but he was rash at that time. Sure, it was because his master was insulted, but when you are in a high position and someone you care about gets insulted you can't be that rash. There is more at stake than just you. We know he will go crazy if his teacher gets hurt, we saw that when his master was almost killed by the Golden Rider guys, but to get angry because of an insult is stupid.

Think whatever you want dude... Tie Bu Tian may be disguised as a guy, but someone with half a brain could see that she was the "prince's cousin/sister" that visited Chu Yang in his heavenly sword pavilion. I don't even know why I bother replying to you...
