Trying to buy a new phone. Help?

    So currently I have an Acer Liquid Z630 phone, and although it's alright, I've been having troubles with the ram, and would like to be able to take higher resolution video of my new kitten. I've been shopping around the internet, and haven't been having much luck finding a suitable replacement. I took a look at the newest (I assume) acer phone, the Acer Liquid Z6 plus, but wasn't able to find a single place online that sells it.

    My price range is under $500 for the new one, although the cheaper the better. How do I find a decent phone?

    Edit: btw, I am developing apps for android, so peripherals are a high priority.

    avoid anything apple cause those phone will dig a hole in your wallet and wont let go till it gets to the other side desu

    also blackberry is good rather its great but its a dead brand at the very least in the SEA area desu

    so i advice avoiding that too desu~
    cause of lack of compatibility with virtually 90 % of apps desu~

    OP already said "under 500", when was the last time they sold a phone for that?

    Btt: im using a Huawei P9 Lite atm and I'm pretty happy with it

    i think you should wait a little bit before buying. Many companies are releasing bezel-less phones and seeing the response, i think even more such phones will be released in the market by good companies in the next some months. so you whould wait atleast two months before trying to see if you find anytihing good.

    Sadly the One+ 5 is just a little more than US$500. Otherwise I would have recommended it.

    Specially with the 8 and X going out, the price should go down, but it start to age now, specially with iOS11, I would recommend a model more younger or an android as a better choice than the 6

    Don't buy anything from Apple, Google, or Samsung.

    You are paying hundreds of dollars just for the brand name.

    Try the plus one company for good phones.

    The one plus 5 has 6gb ram and 64gb storage. It costs $479 US. I am using the one plus 5 and it's a good quality. If you want more ram then they have one for 8gb ram and 128gb storage for $539 US
