What type of anime do you like? For ones with mobile suits, you should try watching Aldnoah Zero. Gorgeous mechs and hella gorgeous animation. You could also try Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-blooded Orphans or Gundam Reconguista in G. Though I am particularly biased with the Gundam titles, I would have to say that the reason I recommended the latter is because it gives a good ode to the classic Gundam animation. Really nice. For laughs, try Mob Psycho 100, One-Punch Man, or even Shokugeki No Soma. For Shounen action, there's Kekkai Sensen, Psycho Pass (really dark anime), Gangsta (also kinda bleak and dark), Log Horizon, and maybe Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei. For sports, there's really only one that I watch and that's Haikyuu. Don't know what genre you'd prefer but at the top of my head, those are the ones I can think of.
I recommend the newly airing ACCA and also for comedy to get you back into anime, aside from Saiki Kusuo, must try Sakamoto desu ga.
Yosuga no Sora, he gets all of them. (jk, I do not recommend it), maybe Darker than Black and Requiem for the Phantom?
grisaia series of anime is pretty good. Action, actual sex instead of just sexual situations, cool main character, a little darkness to.
Loved Psycho-Pass, also really liked One-Punch Man and Shokugeki No Soma, as well as Gangsta and Log Horizon, gonna have to check out the rest though... and thanks to everyone for reccomending me tons of anime.
