Been reading the novel for a while, didn't see a latest chap thread for this so started one.
I'm willing to bet it wasn't BUG who took him, rather it was the dragon Tomoe mentioned.
Mmm.... i to agree it wasnt bug... he hasnt taken off those rings outside azora so its unlikely for the bug to care... even more so i dont think that she would want to see him again...
Also i wonder, how many times must he double his power by doing archery practice to have more power than the bug
Since it doubles everytime he does it? Maybe a few more times. Tomoe did say his power was getting closer to the Gods already.
I wonder what the reaction of the heroes to him will be... (Omg sooo ugly!) lol
The girl was a classmate but something happened there...the other guy is unknown will probably play the stereotypical hero whosee demons and demi-humans as the enemy and and friend to them an enemy too.
The male hero is nothing more than a pawn of the princess to be fair. I also doubt the two heroes would find Makoto hideous considering they are from earth and it hasn't been long enough for them to develop the mentally that hyumans have in terms of beauty. They will probably not be affected by his looks but all their party members would be disgusted.
speaking of the other heroes, i'm REALLY happy the female hero and one of her team has resistance to the scumbag hero. unfortunately she's weaker and half her team is on his side, so she'll probably be suppressed physically soon... but that leaves a window for the protag to save her, rather than her getting brainwashed and him having to fight with her(which is what i was worried would happen).
the last line of the chapter bothered me...the ease of going to sleep...did the princess drug their food?
What if the demon race somehow kidnapped Makoto to try to convince him to be on their side? They could've maybe made a deal with that dragon and thus got an opportunity to persuade Makoto to join their side.
Maybe Makoto will even be shown that battle the heroes will be at.
I mean, remember, the demon lord did notice Makoto's existence and did want to get Makoto on their side.
currently demons are looking like better people than the hyumans...I'm rooting for whoever doesn't follow the bug
I think the same. Originally the hyumans should be considered an invasive species... Mio said it earlier in the series. Oh something tells me the bug isn't behind makoto's disappearance. It might be the other gods tsukuyomi spoke about who might need him to plead a case against the bug. Or the dragon ?
4 more chapter until makoto reappears you'll see
Seems like next chapter will focus on the heroes too? And probably for a few more since it seems like Makoto won't appear for a while. Also I'm getting bad vibes from the end of Chapter 68. I feel like the princess did something to the female hero's food.
Oh yeah. Also, does anyone have information about the male hero's powers (and a description of his demon eyes and what exactly they do) and the female hero's powers? I don't recall what they are of if they were even mentioned...
male hero's eyes probably alter the way people think of him, like hypnosis. don't know about the girl.
He is immortal under the rays of the moon.
If it is the dragon, then .... Fourth Follower, Get!
Wondering if the attack on the fort was just a plot to kill the other hero, Hibiki?
How does the pact thing work? I'm kinda curious our MC keeps getting stronger and his future (to be maybe if he has more) followers might not be able to actually make a pact cause he's too powerful?
The rings he uses to store excess power should mitigate this. Besides as long as be makes pacts with strong people, it shouldn't be too difficult to form pacts. If there's not enough power just throw in the rings and it's all good
But Shiki had 13 rings.... The next person in line is gonna have a hard time fitting rings if it keeps multiplying. Also I don't think my question was 100% clear. I mean, does getting a new follower "dilute" so to speak his magical power so that followers of the same status will be able to make the same pact.
To make myself more clear, here's an example:
When Makoto made a pact with Tomoe, he used hallf of his magical power, then after he doubles it, suppose he finds an existence as Tomoe with the same amount of magical power, will that mean that half of his previous power be used to maintain (uphold, or whatever) his pact with Tomoe and only that new excess magical power be used to form the pact with the new existence?
Separate names with a comma.
