In my understanding any system we know of can be a step back if gone wrong or a step forward if gone right, but extremes are bad in any of the systems(so i think we agree on most parts)
i never said the adaption for hyumans will be easy, as they will most likely end up as the demons where in just before the war or at least close to it, with little and infirtial land, with a lot of hyumans dead, but i dont think they will go extinct from it and i also think they will get stronger as a race from it, if we look a few centuries or millinas in the future, if they dont get a lot of help from Asora
