The author actually released a chapter every month or so just not part of the main story. He released the side story/extra chapters without releasing any main story chapters. If I recall what I read he was ill for a while which prevented him from really writing too much.

 

I guess that Makoto is a common enough Japanese name but to sign with his name just seemed funny.

I guess Makoto's level isn't really a bug in the system. It's just the system can't fully assess Makoto's power and that resulted in him being Lvl 1 since it's the initial level for all.
And his titles really are OP. Especially the [Friend of the Moon God] title. Subtle increase in strength when fighting enemies equal in power? That's OP. And then there's the [Owner of Unconventional Luck] he's kinda like Touma is. You don't know whether he's lucky or not amidst those misfortunes.

 

Yes you do, since his title specifically says (Bad) Luck.

 

He's messing with Fate. Fate was like, "You must keep walking to where I lead you to!". And Makoto was like, "Yo nigga, I ain't gotta do that. I'll do things my way!"

 

Latest chapter reminds me of a game I used to play and after attaining high enough level I reset it to zero but the stats remain the same and thus easier to increases stats. What if it is the same scenario and whenever he try the meditation he go to zero then to 1 . Increase stats. Meditate. Zero to one again . And so on.

 

That's not the case here. Root said that if someone attained the maximum level, it would display [OVER]. It would never display 1.
Makoto got that level and it never changed even 'till now.
