Implemented View Chapters By Translator Option

So I'm currently reading A Mistaken Marriage Match: Record of Washed Grievances. There are about 3 versions for some chapters, and I wouldn't really mind it except that sometimes...I'll just share a screenshot:



So I'm reading Nutty's translations, and sometimes it's a real hassle to find the page of the chapter I'm currently in ('cause sometimes, translators don't have 'Next Chapter' buttons so you'll have to use the NU page links). An option to view releases by translator would be very helpful! >.<

Oh tabs is something I also want please! Makes it easier to find the next chapter for the translator you are reading the novel from...especially when you have to go through a couple pages to find the next one and you forget the chapter you were looking for

 

This seems like a pretty nice idea! I'd like to see it implemented!

 

Just posting here before the "there-should-be-only-one-translator-per-series" nonsense starts.

 

I've been thinking of possible solutions (aside from creating a tab?), and maybe there could be an option to sort the releases by Group name instead, like the way you can sort out the releases in the NU front page by clicking 'Group' or 'Title'. This way, for example, Nutty's translations could appear first, then Rotten Translations' and finally Ruibelle's. The chapters should still be in chronological order as well for it to work though...

@Tony so how about excluding some series from the main page? How do i do that?

 

You can use either 'Release Filtering' or 'Series Filtering' to exclude releases from your main page on NU.

 

Wrong. 'Release Filtering' only allows you to filter genres and tags, while 'Series Filtering' doesn't hide anything from the main page.

I believe that currently the only method is that of creating a new reading list which you set on hidden and add novels you don't want on your main page on that list.

Any chance to append to this, the ability to block Translators entirely? Such as, a translator known for producing awful quality translation across the board, poaching translations, putting ads in the middle of chapters (as in, in the middle of the actual text of the chapter), or other negative traits.

Such as, Wuxiadream for example. I would be happy if the option to block all their releases, for all series they do now and in the future, existed.

 

Add the series you don't want to see on the release page to a new reading list, and then change the settings of this reading list to "not show up on the main page", this will stop it from appearing for you.

 

Translators. I wish to be able to block translators. Not translations. Translators.

 

Add all series from Wuxiadream to the list and you have your problem solved.

 

Ok, but case in point is Monarch of Evernight. Which is translated by Wuxiadream, and Alyschu. One is a good translator, the other isn't. Also I like that series.

So I should block that series, that's your response to my question?
