Well, as of now, I'll stop reading the novel until we get the 20 april chapters. Should be enough chapters to see the whole robin thing at least somewhat solved.
Eh? Were they? I just thought it said it was a face familiar to Leylin's? I'll go back and check though. Edit: Yep it was just a face that's familiar to Leylin AKA someone Leylin knows.
He is the Old Rank 3 Warlock whom looks young but has an old voice, grandpa of Snoppy He's Leylin's servant
Chapter 480: It really seems as though Robin has been killing pure blooded Warlocks and somehow draining their powers/blood from them to enhance himself. Perhaps he's aiming for Leylin next? o.0 Oh? I would assume that the shifty person is Cyril, who is working together with Robin? I wonder how they came to work together, and what their actual goal is. Chapter 481 Preview: I totally forgot he had the ability to make clones of himself ... how convenient xD
Chapter 481: I find it kind of funny how Leylin seemingly cares about the comments that others make about him. "Biting the hand that feeds him," LOL. He's just following orders man. If anything, he's putting the bone that sticking out back in place, or removing it if it is too damaged to be saved. Also kind of stupid how Leylin just goes ahead and assumes that he has more experience in bloodlines than Robin, despite being younger and for quite a while, weaker. Though I guess it has to do with the idea that usually only Warlocks who have reached their peak potential (in this case, Rank 4), who would then start researching into bloodlines, and the fact that Leylin has the AI Chip. Seems as though Robin has a contract with the Devils who represent the 7 Deadly Sins or something xD
He care if it will make his life harder. (Same reason why he decided to protect that level one warlock he found in twilight zone) Good reputation can make your life easier ( easier to make good deal with same rank mages). Bad reputation useful only against lower rank mage.
That's fair enough, and I thought about that as well, but I don't think it really applies to this situation. I mean, he's simply carrying out orders from his mentor. There's no reason why he would be affected negatively. The lower ranked magi would fear him, but he shouldn't care about their opinions (if anything, he could use their fear to his advantage). As for similar Crystal ranks or Morning Star Magi, they would still have to be careful of offending Leylin's mentor, not to mention that if anything he'll get a reputation of being loyal/being professional, which is an advantage. It's not like he's killing his mentor, cause then that'd actually be the case of him biting the hand that fed him.
His enemy ( or people who is jealous of him) could start rumors about how when Leylin was still weak and new member, Robin take care of him, yet the second he become successful, he killed him without any question for his own personal benefit. If you want to invite someone to explore secret cave, will you chose some who kill his benefactor for his personal benefit? Can you sell secret mages info for someone like that? How do you know he won't backstab you for his own benefit? They will rather chose different person to be safe. If no one know about it, Leylin will kill him without second thought. Edit: plus, Leylin worried about what is going own under the table.
That twist!! What do you guys think, who's the fake Robin? The one in the prison, or the one outside? And if the real one is in the prison...Who's outside? I'm guessing that the real one is the one in the prison. The fake Robin was the Robin's cousin(nephew?) who had accompanied Robin and Leylin to the Quicksand organisation. That's why he got Gluttony.
