arent the chapter all in 1 long line on qidian?
They should put in a commentsection xD thats the only thing i don´t like about qidian

 

Editor might be fun, but the problem is unfixed time schedules.

Sometimes I might be available all day, sometimes a few hours.

And then there's the fact that some people (sometimes me) take glee in pointing out mistakes with a pun (not the TLer) or something similar in a chapter's comment section (not that qidian has a section, but anyway).

And I would say my vocabulary & maybe grammar is better than my attention to punctuation and all that.

Anyway, for me it could only work, if I got contacted when I happened to be on and then asked to read something and find any errors, not if I had to do it at any specific time. Basically, if there was something for readers to 'professionally' check and comment after the release, I could do that.

Not that I really have a problem with english, since I can read GT / MTLed chapters well most of the time.

 

How about you not be edgy and complain about the difference in format?

 

Your internet connection is the problem not the site. It's only ever failed me when I had bad cell/wifi signal

i'm interested in becoming the editor, and i'm still learning chinese, so can't be a translator yet.......

 

There is no salary, pay is per chapter (for both translators and editors).

Also, no offence, but considering your tenses ("can you at least wrote"), your misuse of a determiner ("the editor") and the space you put before the question mark, you might not be best suited to being an editor. Still worth applying though.

 

it's a habit of mine, for casual chat, i prefer to put a question mark after a space.........

i know there isn't normal salary, what i mean is what is the pay per chapter for editor?

It's tempting to apply as a translator, but that 5 chapters quota is very hard to keep up.....................
And some of those chapters could be quite long and word-heavy too.

What are the quota requirements for editors? Are they the same as translators?

 

@Qidian Is there any estimate on when tests for editors will receive an answer telling if they passed or not?

Bro they are greedy but they help Chinese authors by giving a platform which their books is easier to find and with that said, it free on international while you still have to pay in Chinese server of Qidian so it not so bad beside most translator groups get the raw novel free from pirating sites. If you start cursing them as least support the authors by giving them recommend ticket(make account level up to get free ticket) or coins(their currency in the platform) in Qidian. If you don't read Chinese use google translator on chrome (make sure you click show original on the translator before you click on a link or it won't work). If it was pay to read I would just use the pirating sites and use a translator (not google trans cause it sucks for chinese if you want to know what translator I use pm me I only get on once a week) Also the authors in Qidian don't really earn a lot of money because most of it goes to Qidian. you can see they are greedy so I don't think international Qidian is made just to be free.
