    For me it has to be the early books of Desolate Era about the Ji Clan and Black and White College, the alchemy arc in ISSTH where he was Fang Mu, and the arc where Zuo Mo prepares to fight Clear Sky Sect Jindan and builds up a city.

    For me, it's when Invisible Dragon landed on Mt. Tai, we can't see anything at all.

    ISSTH: early in the novel when Meng Hao was in his first swindling days, the Demon Immortal sect arc where MH got to act as a bully and met the Ke duo, The arc in the bridge of immortality ruins where MH met the other persona of the frost demon whose wife turned into a ghost.
    Perfect World: The flashback to when Shi Hao was young; it was very touching.

    Xian Ni had 2 of my favourite arcs i have experienced; 1st was around chapters 160-190 where the mc was learning array techniques and it took him a long time to do so... it is similar to the violet sect arc in ISSTH but better...
    2nd was when he needed to breakthrough to become a spirit formation cultivator and to do so he needed to become a mortal and thats the arc where he received the most development any character could receive in xianxia.

    I cant remember any other arcs as memorable as these 2...

    Wait for 40 millennium of cultivation to reach chapter 100. It is an amazing novel and you will see some pretty great character development in that.

    SAO's Phantom bullet arc... I really love it!!! And its also the one that jumped started my love for novels...
    (A few vols. Later,,,,, SAO turns to shit.)

    Some of my faves -
    ISSTH - violet fate sect, the one where ke yunhai dies, that whole arc was fuckin awesome. The marriage arc. Gotta love haowie

    Xian Ni - return back to mortality arc.

    Transcending the nine heavens - I dun remember which part but I teared up a bit so it must have been a good arc - panda logic-

    Sevens - first grandpa dies

    Now that I look at it, most of my fav arcs are sadddd. Am I masochist? *Pinches self* ahhhhhhhngg I mean ouch.
