What Are We Allowed To Talk About In Blogs?

What are we allowed to talk about in the blogs? I know this site doesn't want politics in the threads so I won't mention politics. But can I talk about politics in my blogs? I was planning on sharing my own insights into current day/ past politics. For example, maybe talk about the NK's nuclear power capabilities and the threats it has to it's neighbors/US, talk about the Paris Accords and why I, as an American, do not support it, and talk about the fight for freedom of speech in current day college campuses.

Maybe dabbling into some controversial topics such as my own opinion on abortion, woman's wage pay gap, gun rights, social issues, and capitalism vs socialism policies debate.

All I want is a conversation with the community and my intentions are not to demean other people's ideas. That's why I want to share my ideas with the communities and listen to their feedback and own experiences. I'm only a young man in the U.S so I'd like to listen to other people's perspective.

I understand if you say "no" if your reason is that this is not the right platform/community for such ideas.

 

Did NUF set up a blog section on the forums? Or in general is the OP talking about setting up his own blog?

Also I use NUF via my mobile device so I may have not seen the new NUF Blog section

I agree with you.. but the posts should be controlled cuz it may turn into fights and contradictions between members with different point of view and different geographical, cultural and political views ... Wich my creat different camps Between who follow certain ideology and other who follow another Wich may lead to a wave of insult an curses (it actually happened in a local forum i was memeber in , yrs ago)...and this may ruin the 'friendly' atmosphere between fellow members .. This problem is serious and should be handled with upmost care and wisdom By nuf staff !!! : )

 

I'm quite sure that forum rules are applied to this entire site. Like not talking about politics and religions.

When in doubt on what you can or cannot talk about on the Forum, check the General Forum Rules and the rules specific for your section.

In the case of blogs, there is no specific section rule, so just check the General Rules.

So, politics and religion are still banned, unless a mod says otherwise.

If you're on mobile, it's on a similar place as well, it shouldn't be too hard to find.

I can assure you that I have read all replies on all posts on this subforum for the last 9 months at the very least... >.>

My reply still remains the same though, unless a mod says otherwise, general forum rules apply to all the forums, including blogs and profile posts.

 

Talk about anything you want. As long as it's not against the standard rules~

That's all though. I wasn't going to post this since there's no point, but since you asked, I'll post.

In addition, Brasca is making the point that it's only okay if a mod/staff appproves, which that's what I am doing exactly right now.
