    I like free novels but they gave a low blow... I like WW so I'll use adblock on Qidian.

    Qidan is based in China, so you link to Qidan stuff, Qidan can do you using chinese law instead of US.

    I meant the updates here on NU. If they stay, wouldn't that mean that NU is free advertisement to paid content?

    They won't be updated in NU anymore. Any kind of password that blocks chapters will block the update system, so they won't appear if the paywall is implemented, and those added manually will be removed. But free chapters will probably still be updated. What we will see most likely is novels with 800 chapters having only the first 100 or so linked on NU but with status as still being translated/completed.

    NU doesn't link to paywalled stuff or password protected stuff.

    If you find a chapter that NU has a link to that you can't access without a password or paying, report it and it will be removed.
