i figured it would be the fact that there are over 6500 chapters and still ongoing. if you only read the translation it is currently at 273 chapters and only releases like once or twice a week. so if you wait for it to be completely translated you will die before that happens. although still not the longest novel i've seen.
The tragedy is the moment you realize that the author abandoned everything good about the story to make is a typical xianxia (and it's not even a half-way decent xianxia)
