    so.. Ummm... I am really curious as for what kind of things that distract you the most when you are in the middle of translating something? as for me, well, I mostly stop for singing the currently playing song :p:p:X3: yes I can sing more than two songs before continuing my translation :D:p

    Edit: this is not limited to novels translator as a hobby, perhaps you are part timing as a translator or even a full-time translator too... what distracts you the most

    nnn~ I mean not only just translating novels, but also if you are part timing as translators too or if you are a full-time translator...

    real life, and also the internet for me, but for different reasons: playing games is bad for translating :<

    And when I encounter an obscure Kanji: open Jisho.org --> open weblio.jp --> numerous tabs later --> reading Wikipedia about some obscure Lithuanian mythology and revival neopaganism (this really happens). I just can't resist Wikipedia......

    Wikipedia.. unn~ it helped a lot.. :X3: I mean, I sometimes translated medical journal, sometimes economic journal, and others. I don't think I can do all of them without Wikipedia... :p:p
