Discussion When the MC have the same name as you

Mine is always either a side character or villian

 

My name is the name of the identity of GDK's MC, Bryan

 

I don't believe I've ever seen a mc/character in a CN novel with 宇健 as a name... so no

 

Anyone know if there's a Senji MC out there? Are they a reincarnated as a OP cheat bird?

 

Yeah, I had to even make a SEMINAR about the book, and it was the main character. I'm pretty timid, so giving a seminar in addition to describing the character as a womanizer and more was pretty embarrasing.

 

IMO i think there is a vast difference between the two because in religion you question everything? so it is easier to see other interpretations of gods or whatever because of your questioning.

 

The name is much more personal than anything, in my opinion. But in a casual reading I can easily overlook

 

As I call myself now Smooth Che ... I don't have a problem at all with reading my name in stories.

However, the silly name I had before was the 'main protagonist' in a children's song and it had been sung at least twice a week in primary school ... and again frequently in elementary level. And I got THAT name because the first name I should get was mentioned in a song popular during the time of my birth, and my parents wanted to avoid any awkward situations later on - fml ... NOBODY knows that freaking song at all ...

 

I don't know if you were being sarcastic. Because people kill over their God differences, and the answer to those questions are bombs and bullets.
Point being, when religion is serving as your core. Any idea that does not go with it, shakes your very core. For eg if you believe in one God, and here you see numerous Gods dying?
But off course it depends on person to person. Each person hold some thought that is dear to them, and when it is challenged they react. To enjoy life, we must overcome this stigma.

 

Basically 'Name' has the ability to gather our attention. Because it was made to be this way. But we were not made to react every time something disturbed us, hence we must groom patience and tolerance for character development.

 

Yeah I was reading this story about a guy who had the exact same name as me. I was blown away how similar our experiences were and how we had the same powers. It's a pretty popular book.

I can't really relate to this because I've never read my name in Novels even once. Lol

But I think it wouldn't really bother me that much though. You are you regardless of whom you share a name with. Imo.

 

Unless I read fictions in RRL, then no, because all novels I read are mostly have eastern names and my name is a sub-variant of the original name.

As an MC name, I doubt it. But it wouldn't be strange to find "Zettai Ryouiki" as an ability or skill move name. To be fair, the term "Zettai Ryouiki" was derived from the A.T. Field in Evangelion.

 

Since my real name in my country is the equivalent of John Smith in America. I guess the probability is pretty high for me to have the same name of a character in a Story. From my country that is.

 

that probability is really low cuz on my place my name really uncommon well if it's my family name and my firts name maybe cuz there quite common my name consist of 3 words

 

i wasn't trying to be sarcastic. but merely mentioning a counter point. I didn't think you were talking about religious extremists, if it is them your point makes a whole lot more sense. Well only if it is their gods dying eg buddist reading "if gods come we kill gods, if buddahs come we kill buddahs."

 

Well, not really a novel but my name is one of the Power Ranger that wears pink (I dislike pink). . . . and this doesn't make me happy.
