    So I was wondering which has a better story or plot. So I decided to let other people decide.

    Depends on the movie/novel/manga/Anime.
    please elaborate your question more. e.g.
    u can't compare Hell's Kitchen(manga) to Hell's Kitchen(TV-show). Apples and Oranges.
    Game of thrones(TV) to Song and Ice&Fire(novel) are equal.
    Eragon(books) better than (Eragon) the movie
    The Medicus movie better than the book but the movie is only based on the book.

    I think you should exclude novel. That way the result won't be obvious

    Anime these days don't worry about plot. Well, not the correct definition of plot anyway, if you know what I mean ;)
    I would say it is novels who give a bit more than just fan service. Manga? It varies. They all do really.

    Newspaper comic strips. Although the one written behind cereal boxes are great, I don't really ate cereals nowadays. If only cup noodles have them too(maybe there is, but there's certainly none anywhere near where I live).

    Ugh. Eragon movie. That piece of shit....what were they thinking, turning a good book into such a rubbish movie. Did the director have a grudge against the author or something.

    After this I will probably make the questions and polls better. This was also my first thread so I was seeing how it was going to work out. But keep on voting. I will see what adjustments to make so my threads are better suited for the people out there. :)

    If were talking about the best plot ever it has to be One piece then.. Considering the fact that its 12 years old and its only half Complete and the author said it'll take another 15 years to finish other story plots can't even compete have deep the plot is.

    Movies and animes have restrictions on the amount of things you can talk about... At least more than novels. There are some details that add to the value of the plot/story

    Longest story doesn't mean best plot.

    We can take TV shows as exemples, csi lasted 15y, The Simpsons, 27 and going without any plot whatsoever.
    On the contrary some shows like Jericho who had one of the best plot ever ended after a bit more than a year.

    Plus novels besides I eat tomatoes' novels, Duolo Dalu and rare fews the plot is quite weak.
    The plot of most novels goes like this:
    -Someone with high status look with disdain on MC and acts/speaks arrogantly.
    -MC speaks and makes the high status dude lose face.
    - The high status dude attacks and because MC dares to fight back when he gets crippled or killed, the high status dude says : "you're courting dead" (hellooo, you were already trying to kill him lol).
    - The guy dies and it offends bigger foes
    - Hero gets a fast power up by the time said foes arrives and back to step one.
