    There are 3 types of MC's. Dumb ones, fake smart ones (aren't actually smart, but the author tries to make the look smart), and actually smart ones. These top class smarts come from authors who truly know what they're talking about, and I want to know: who is the smartest MC of them all?

    I hope for you to name and defend the MC who you believe to be the smartest. If you see any idiots being named, call them out. Im curious as to who will be decided within the 20-30 minutes a thread normally stays relevant.

    isn't that the definition of fake smart?

    I think warlock of the magus world does a decent job of a smart MC, probably the smartest I've read on here in terms of smart mc.

    I would say Faust from soul cartel. Faust is a super genius and spent 500 years in heaven before being reincarnated he is around or a little over 600 years old and read all the books in heaven containing vast amounts of information and was even given special permission by god to read even books that only the archangels could read and was able to learn practically everything except the secret of creation itself. He can predict and prepare for every single possible future. With God's Papyrus he can create anything. From houses, buildings and an infinitely evolving maze that restricts flight and teleportation, to monsters and actual human beings. By EoS can even creates a gateway that connects two separate universes and took over Gabramelck's Tower of Babel which controls time. He is the only non angel who can wield God's Items made by the Big G itself. God's Papyrus can make anything, Gram God's Sword can cut anything, Aegis God's Armor can block anything, God's Key can open anything and the armor of God does any harm caused to the wielder to the attacker as well. Faust had Gram and God's Papyrus at one time.
