One of his battle spirits has the ability to devour opponents' battle spirits and take their powers.

I dropped it when the translator decided to insult everyone that asked where she went after there were 29 sponsored chapters but she didn't feel like explaining.

He has a celestial book with a blank page when he is infuenced by some art he creates something in the book as in the beginning he was infuenced by the spirit of a guy with lotus of fire and the book made one for him

As far as I recall, the book just gave him the special type of fire, chaos flame or whatever it is and he created the skill himself. I think the book just gives him some special powers, not skills or spirits.

I read up to 500 in English TLs and then read the next 2000 chapters in MTL.

I will say this, it vastly improves around chapter 700-800 because he actually meets some interesting allies/friends that stay with him for the remainder of the novel. The ending will feel somewhat rushed though.

The book is his other spirit. He has 2 bloodline battle spirits (the book and the celestial fangs). The celestial fangs battle spirit is the one that absorbs other battle spirits and has a multi-headed dragon shape. It starts out as a small snake, but after absorbing other spirits and dragon bloodlines, it powers up and evolves.

It's hard to really answer that because the "payoff" for reading PMG is really in the later chapters when it's more interesting (1500-2500) as opposed to when he's weaker and it's sort of just about all sorts of cliches like the first 500 chapters.

Basically, if you dropped it once already, you might drop it again before getting to the good chapters lol...
