why is it when i make a review on a lightnovel my review doesnt show up when i logout

like is it in the setting or something

 

It has to be approved first.

 

Did you hit the post review button at the bottom because that is the only reason I can think of.

 

kinda figured they would do something like this but meh only approve certain reveiws to help promote or not promote novels sounds like a great way to run things

Uh....no. They approve almost every review, not just certain reviews. They use the approve feature to stop trolls.

Imagine going to the review page of a novel and you see something like,
"Hey fucker, if you have time to read this shit, why don't you start reading some real literature. Like Shakespeare or sth. Get a life pal.(using an extreme example here, but you get the point right?)

 

well to be honest i posted a appropriate review 4 months ago and it has yet to show up but hey im only 1 out of how many people use this site and not like i care about making my review known if the novel sucks and they say its good when its not well... people will find out by themselves

 

Which novel did you post a review for? Maybe you could try posting it again. Or PM a mod asking them the reason behind not approving it.

 

Mods will only block your review if they deem it inappropriate, never because they disagree with your point when making it.

If your review makes sense, regardless of whether the mod likes, dislikes or haven't even read the novel, they will approve it, if your wasn't, there was a problem with it that lead to the lack of approval.

 

It's not like mods block reviews because they don't agree with them.
