Reburth thief is not a necro, you know when the first time yue zhong got that summon skeleton? He should just be a necro, it will make things easier
IDK if it popular or not but here what I think ~ one man army, yeah summon few =>kill enemy =>make more minions ~ resurrection skill although it will be undead ~ dark power, hey there many with evil power, evil god or the likes<<< chuuni level over 9000
I don't think so. (I do love that story though) Necromancy has been a niche popular thing for a while, but they are never main characters until recent years. I've loved necromancy since Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Played the shit out the necromaner campagin. Always so disappointed at the lack of Necromancer characters.
Let's see... LMS Overlord Seoul Station's Necromancer The Experimental Log of the Crazy Lich Legend of the Sun Knight, Dungeon Hunter, The Girl who Ate a Death God and Headless Villainess also have necromancy elements, but not that much? I guess it'd be >4 if I add them all up? They're interesting because there aren't That many series with necromancer protagonists. Most are heroes and cultivators and such, so it's interesting to read a dark class.
Care to name a novel on this website that has a necromancer "lording over a army numbering millions"? Every since necromancer story I've read here on NU is just a necromancer controlling maybe a few undead at most. Even SSN has the MC directly control a few undead knights which control maybe 100 skeletons each? In total the MC does not control more than a few thousand undead, certainly not in the millions. I'd be very interested to know a novel that has a necromancer actually directly controlling millions of undead at once.
They're used as cheat ways for MCs to fight 1 vs many. As someone who likes MMORPGs I hate them. The worst case will be an MC who fights melee but is also a Necromancer.. like wat..
