Unless you go an extra inch deep in religion, then you find yourself thinking you're simply the imagination of God.
Similar to Lovecraft books, where Azathoth dreams our universe.

All the choices are painful though.
    1. give up your hobby
    2. give up a cared for person
    3. compromise
Why do you recommend against compromise specifically? Like, what are you thinking of/imagining/rememembering/etc?

Ah, avoiding grey? I think I get what you mean for that part, but I'm confused by this part:
Do you mean that compromise looks like a good answer on the surface, but in practice it's worse than the others? Like, it's darker ?

I definitely would never give up my hobbies for the sake of others... Reduce amount? Probably, I'd have less time once I was in a relationship after all, but I would still use my free time for it whenever I could, that's just who I am, our hobbies define us a huge lot... I honestly doubt any relationship can work out if one part has to force themselves to not be who they are.
That's a good way of doing it, weird hobbies are normal IMO... Obsession about weird hobbies probably have a troublesome reason... Maybe not, but it's likely.

Treating it as a symptom is a good way of handling it IMO.
    *nod nod*

Some things aren't easily accepted by everyone after all, talking is important, and the couple needs to communicate to make things work out... It's not good to keep on hiding it, because you can't hide it forever anyway, but talking it out slowly is a good thing IMO.
That's the ideal for sure, finding people that love what you love makes it a lot easier for you to come with terms with their weirdness! \(^^)/

When my sister was still home, she has a huge poster of Athrun and Kira (from Gundam SEED) and I finds it cool, until I know that she is a Yaoi fangirl... but I still like my sister since it was her that introduces me into Anime culture (and Gundams, though she has a different reason to watch it than me) and I would never tell her to stop become a fangirl.

yes,the practice in the end always failed, because the new hobbies activities will be questioned or the rule get stricter/lacking end up in another blame fight....
