Windows 10 or Windows 7, which OS do you prefer?

I personally liked the XP more, but any of them work for me, I don't really need much to use the PC after all.

More of a matter of taste than anything I suppose... Unless you actually understand about the softwares.

 

Successfully downgraded to windows 7. First it was hard for me to install the drivers because no driver for the usb port. Had to boot in ubuntu first using a cd to transfer the drivers.

 

Windows 2000 ftw! Windows 10 just for modern directx support. With windows operating systems, you can either uninstall the built in bloatware or just set it so it doesn't start. Anything that Microsoft markets to businesses is highly customizable, if not, more people would be using Linux

 

7, unless you are building a new PC, which u should go 10.

Windows 7 for me, mostly cause my current system is low spec. If and when i upgrade my rig I'll probably change to 10. Although I might also sideload 7 if i cant play older titles on 10

 

Windows 8.1 is probably the most useful version right now. Not WIndows 8. Windows 8 was a buggy piece of crap

 

windows 10 is the best one for me, is the one than gives me the best perfomance

 

Windows 7 is more convenient for me. But I use Win 10 on my second pc too

 

Win X (95, 2000, XP .. 7, 8) was good in the era of desktop computing, local area network computing and IP4.

Now it's the era of BYOD mobile computing, IP6, cloud & big data. Even the late Win X could not hold these big changes for more than 5 years. So, M$ decides to phase out these stable late Win X in exchange with the new technology, the Win XX.
Love it or hate it, we have to move on to the Win XX, version 1.0 (times 10) beta.

In the long history of M$, they never released the OS v.1.0 that could be called stable.
DOS 2.0/3.0, Windows 3.0/4.0, Windows NT 1.0, M$ Word 1.0, MS Access 1.0/2.0, M$ $QL $erver 1.0/4.0 .. groan .....

 

A lot of pre-Windows 7 games won't run on Windows 10. And even if you can run it, there's likely going to be some kind of conflict. I've seen lots of support threads complaining about modern games not even running on Windows 10. A lot of fixes involve installing an earlier Windows as virtual OS. Yea, I know, we have to do the same things on Windows 7 for games written for DOS and Windows 3.1, but that's only because Windows 7 can't run anything written on 8 bit and 16 bit. Windows 10 can't even run 32 bit games properly, if it even runs in the first place.

Anyhow, Madobe Nanami is more relatable.
