Just a thread to talk about work outs you've been doing, exercises you are planning to do one day, or how you can't be bothered to workout. I've been trying to workout again, but its not easy to get started back up. Last week I went to the gym nearly everyday, but this Sunday and yesterday I didn't manage leave my seat. Two of the days I did a full body workout with biceps, triceps, shoulders, chest, and back weight machines set to fairly low weight, calisthenics for my legs, about 5 minutes on a row machine, 15 minutes of walking, and 1 minute of planking. The other 4 days I just walked for 10-14 minutes. It really felt good getting my blood flowing again. My long term plan is to get back into a healthy cycle of going to the gym 4-5 days a week and exercising for about 1-2 hours each day, and maybe skating 4-5 miles a day since my knee is a bit messed up from sports and jogging is a no go. What about you all?
Too lazy. From time to time i go jogging/running tho,and i enjoy playing soccer. But formal workout? not my stuff.
You guys are lucky!!! I eat and eat and eat but weight never goes up. The one week in summer i play football i lose like 3 kg
The word lazy is unable to describe the intensity of my regular routine. Perhaps it was the literature, or simply just fate that made me into who I am. Ignoring some sports I participate in from time to time, even the slightest of physical movement shall tire me for many days to come. [Also ignoring the dog situation I often find myself in, where the dog chases me and I run]
I think you shouldn't go to the gym everyday like that at the beginning. It will burn you out fast. Take 1-2 day off between them and then you can gradually increase the intensity.
Eh I've recently given lifting the backseat and have instead opted for some HIIT , it's really good if you wanna fit in a short workout especially when you've got a hectic lifestyle.
I was doing the full body workout then doing 2 days of walking as a way to recover. Your right though i gotta be consistent.
ive been doing the lazy mans work out. i just sit in the chair playing computer games est food then take a nap
Can anyone recommend some good tricep, lower back and chest exercises with dumbells I been trying to work out a regiment of my own.
Like someone said above, you should try to follow a program. I like this one, pretty effective. http://www.muscleandfitness.com/workouts/workout-routines/complete-mf-beginners-training-guide-0
