look if you're biased from the very beginning anything we say won't be any much help right? Lot's of cultivation type novels have some amazing collection of luck and plot armor. One of the reason on why does Ge only wants a Harem of Jingshi or a someone with a jade like feet
Not biased, but just saying what he did was dumb af. And clearly for no reason. So I was wondering if he continues to do dumb as things in the future, I've read to many stories where plot armor saves the day... ever day.

And tbh the Sect Arc is pretty slow in development that's why a lot of people lose interest at the beginning of it. The action just started after Zuo Mo leaves the jie/sect
Alright alright. I ma still read tho because so far its pretty interesting. And it seems that the story is building up slowly, usually by now the MC would be face slapping the young arrogant master and later sleeping/raping the girlfriend or some shit while the ancient ring with a legendary skill/master helps him lol. SO taking it slow is nice sometimes....idk why i ranted.

Ge was focused on getting some ling grain/jingshi back then and some bored rich person wasted a very precious type of talisman paper as a sort of message in a bottle thingy. So Ge decided to become a troll back then and Ge got immune to the illusions of beautiful women due to that one incident
It was the after thing. She sent the crane thing back with a frozen attack or something that left him paralyzed for a bit and fighting for his life. So what does he do after barely surviving that attack and knowing an expert sent it.... He sends another crane back as a challenge...
