Worst novel name

The title is an inside joke between the main characters, and will make you cry after reading the book. If you actually cared to read it, you'd understand that no other title would be more apt.

 

"Everyone loves large chests" or something like that was the name of a rrl novel. I saw it in several recommendation threads and would propably have at least looked into it but i don't even bother with that name...

Something about reincarnating into panties...I think it was Panties Reincarnation. I'm a pair of panties, so what?
I swear.. most isekai JP novels have weird names(there are exceptions like The new gate and Death March).
But it's not exclusive to JP novels as some KR and CN novels also have weird titles.
The titles itself are the main reason why I don't even start reading such novels.
Most of the titles above 5 words really suck(there are exceptions to this as well)

 

They're webnovels. They didn't go through any editor in most cases. Unlike Chinese novels where you pay to read, Japanese novels are offered for free. The author is responsible for writing, editing and putting it up for reading. They're not for sale and they were not published in the way that you imply. Sure, they were 'published' in a sense, but they don't make any money from it and certainly didn't go through any editor.

It's the LN that's for sale, but you rarely see them because of DMCA. These are the things that go through editors, not webnovels. The things listed on NU are mostly webnovels.

Sometimes, if these stories are picked up for publishing, they get a slight change in name. Like in the novel I'm translating. Originally, the title was "A Warrior Begins Life In Another World" after the novel was picked up for publishing, the title was changed into "A Warrior's Daily Life In Another World". Basically, the change makes it quite clear that this is not a chapterly action genre but more like a slice of life type of story about a warrior in another world. The titles in Japanese web and light novels are usually very descriptive of the story. For example: Oda Nobuna no Yabou, which was derived from the story Oda Nobunaga no Yabou. The change from Nobunaga to Nobuna was because in this story, Nobunaga is a girl, so it's descriptive of the story. If you find Japanese novels with abstract title, be aware, it's not an easy read.

Can you find something worse than this in NU: I Obtained a Stepmother. I Obtained a Little Brother. It Appears That Little Brother Is Not Father’s Child, but a Scum King’s Child, However, Don’t Mind It Please ( ´_ゝ`)

 

Definitely one of the worst novel names i have seen i think i saw a reincarnated into a diaper one before too... at least thats what i think it was called @iampsyx shared it before in a profile post ;-;
