also i love long cultivation novels, but for me WDQK is similar to MGA
fast paced action packed novel without focus on comprehension

 

That's exactly why I dislike it. We know that he will succeed, so there is only a pseudo sense of urgency. With a longer deadline he can increase his strength quite a bit and makes his succeeding more reasonable. With a shorter one it only screams of plot armor.

these are great stories with the so called plot armour
and we shouldn't even talk about Xianxia/Xuanhuan where similar stuff happens
like Linley finding a solution for Delia

we all know that goals like this will be met, the deadline doesn't matter
what matter is the road he takes to achieve it

 

But those stories don't have such strict strength differences (and in some of those I also dislike the plot armor, with the road being a curving dirt path but the plot armor let them speed there like on a straight highway.)
