I checked wikipedia and it seems the novel isn't over yet so I am still hoping they will somehow win. OR DAMN IT LET TANYA BECOME HITLER AND START WW2 (but without the mistakes of Hitler so hopefully Germany can win once...) So can anyone claim that they will not lose? At least make it a draw
Its licensed so only those who could buy the novel can read it. Well in the manga, in some chapters the other world germany did lose. Just read the eleventh goddess chapters, the reporters/historian chapter.
Spoiler To my knowledge the web novel version ended with a loss. They chose to committed to a final battle, despite getting a good deal with their enemies so they can get a better deal, but lost. Also there is a chapter in the LN and manga showing the future. They did lose the final battle, but still exist as a county. Also for some reason the existence of Tanya is hidden. People believe the female child ace mage was just propaganda and people who knew her don't talk about her/state secret. Its my personal belief she is alive and kept secret for some reason, perhaps for a counter attack in the future.
Spoiler Welp HEIL TANYA-CHAN~ If we go by real world, then Tanya should be old enough to start her own version of fascism and this time, she calls the shots and not some idiots from the higher-ups. But damn, that sure puts of the fire of interest. I guess I'd only start getting interested again if the author decides to do Youjo Senki II : The Empire Returns.

Knowing the Spoiler: events that will undoubtedly unfold, Defeat of the Austro-Germanic-Hungarian Empire (lel) my interest in the series went to an all-time low. But I was still hoping for Tanya to become the Spoiler: Cutest of them All Fuhrerin that will restore the fatherland to its rightful place in the world, so I went in and read the manga. Then I got to the part where 40 years later, they were still looking into the Great War. 40 YEARS LATER AND TANYA IS Spoiler: NOT A LOLI ANYMORE!!!... OR IS SHE? HMMM? STILL NOT THE FUHRERIN! Meaning, the author never intended for Tanya to become the Hitler of that world and start a new world war to restore the fatherland while having boing boing, hot army uniform and high-heeled boots! DAMN IT MY HOPES AND DREAMS!!! To add more, it seems all her past achievements have been erased, I mean come on, at least glorify the loli of the war. T_T OTL. I wonder where can I find another like Tanya. Spoiler By the way, I am in no way a lolicon, don't go reporting me to the FBI or something XD Gahd why did I even write all this. XD I need some meds.

As far as the Manga is concerned, Anson bought the farm with their first meeting. I think it was an anime only deviation. I haven’t gotten that far in the LN.

Do. It’s been a while since I’ve read the manga. Was he revived by Being X? I don’t remember that in the anime..I thought he just got lucky. Anyhu, the real antagonist is Anson’s daughter...from the manga, she’s even more broken and OP than Tanya.
