Actually, you know what? This first episode reminded me of my theory as CCS as being nothing more than Daoist Ji's distraction and the REAL heir to the throne is CCS's senior martial brother. Just think about it. 1. 1st chap we are told that there are 'higher' realms from where CCS is now. 2. Only dragons and a few others are supposedly able to go up n down these realms 3. We find CCS floating DOWN a river where a dragon (supposedly) chases him. 4. Daoist Ji cares more for his senior martial brother since he is more in line with his plan and CCS can be seen as an extra disciple which HIS SENIOR BROTHER picked up, NOT Daoist Ji. 5. It's more badass to think of CCS as a 'discarded person from a higher realm', or someone who had his veins intentionally crippled but not killed. 6. This theory can give CCS a background greater than or equal to those phoenix peacock and dragon bloodlines. 7. This can explain his blood problem. Maybe it's normal in the higher realm' and other beasts gain more from consuming them (including golden dragons)

A thought Does anyone remember what happened to the giant pile of gold? I distincly remember him sucking it into the sheath in the mausoleum but now he claims to have no money when tang wants to bet. Best guess is that it was ground to destruction, but i dont think it was ever mentioned again.
