Just today there was a release of a guide:Amazon Complete Zelda Breath of the Wild Guide
    In the description it says:
This guide, which will be published by Piggyback, promises to provide a comprehensive breakdown that covers: “120 Shrine mini-dungeons, 900 Korok seed puzzles, 76 side quests all mapped out and ready for you to discover and complete! Also includes optional challenges, mini-games, unlockables, Easter eggs, and more.”

So... what means to us??.... that we have 120 dungeons to complete, 900 koroks to find and 76 sidequest to be done.... WHO THE FUCK SAID THAT WE CAN FINISH THIS IN 2 WEEKS!?!?....

Dude... if you just play like always and enjoy the game i would guess that you could complete 2-4 dungeons shrines per day and maybe find 10-20 koroks per day... and this does not mention you doing anything else like killing mobs, finding treasures, looking for hearts, speaking with NPC, etc....to me it would seem that by playing 3-4 hours each working day and playing all weekend.... a normal person would need 1-2 maybe 3 months to complete the game 100%

THis is the FKNG BIGGEST zelda game ever...

Even those who can play 16 hours per day... i still bet that it would take at least 1 month to complete the game...

    What do you think?

100% completion... I'd say 300h of gameplay and that should be easily doable

To just beat the game? People will do that before it's been out for a week.

judging as to how there are multiple books by the same guy, all I can say is that they are a team playing a single game file while the other takes down notes while another is on miscrosoft word typing out every single minute detail. That's some professional level coordination right there.

Edit: or that they got access to it pre-release

76 side quests seems pretty small for a open world adventure game really.

And if the 120 dungeons are mostly the same length as the tutorial ones...then well that's gonna be pretty easy.

But the koroks unless collecting them does something brilliant story or mechanic wise I doubt I'll end up getting them all in my first play through I don't like guides and I usually end up needing one for small collectables in open world that or assassins creed you see everything after the tower aid system...

Should be fun though however long I play it

i would suppose that the difficulty of the dungeons will certainly go up a lot since the dungeons in the great plateau are basic ones where you learn to use the specific item you get, the dungeons outside will use all the things you have

Won't expect a large majority of the dungeons to be either complex or memorable tho.
If I'm wrong, then its gonna make other developers to step up their game which is good.

Does the Zelda game have an easy/beginner, normal/regular, or expert/hard mode?

Perhaps the 76 side quests are huge chain quests?

In a few zelda games there is a hard mode where you take much higher (2x/3x) damage. Generally unlocked by beating the game once.

IIRC, the very first shrine was super short, takes like 2 minutes to finish. Hopefully the rest of the shrines won't be that fast.

I think that the shrines will get longer and harder as the game progresses

If they can release a fire embkem game similar to the way this Zelda game looks, i will feel compelled to boast about how great Nintendo is...

Please let nintendo embrace virtual reality headsets.

To be honest, I'm more hyped for the multiplayer one... But it will be a long~ long~ wait...

Wishing that it wouldn't be a minigame like the Four Swords.
