I really found it you know
Purple colored Lily
Blooming evilly inside the world of daisy garden

Like a stain of wine that bring dizziness
Leaking the truth that hidden tomorrow
Can the future be changed at this point

Ah,I remember tales from the past
My house front window is the sign of dead end
the path left for them is going left
Or turn around to the broken patched right

I used to hearing the knocking sound
People asking for the future road they choose
Going left to the crowded Main Street
Or to turn around and let enjoy the suffering journey of right

But,i never seen once they move back to the past
I'm sure there's more options back then
Yet,i still didn't understand
Why they can't go back

This poem and title reminded me of my own one... which was heavily influenced by
      the road not taken

Read Robert Frost. He is the master in showing human confusion and limitation.

Let me quote some lines of his poem, "The Road not Taken".

Two roads diverged in a wood,
And I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference,

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both. And be one traveler, long I stood. And looked down one as far as I could.

Hmmm it's more harder if things like that,I can't describe something very well.

My mind when working in this pieces is something like this
A single Purple colored lily in white daisy garden -> feels like purple colored wine that stained white clothing -> accident/mistake/flaw bring headache to the mind -> are people going to ignore it or fix it? -> i am questioning them when back then they acknowledge it happens, why they don't accept it as what it is.

So I agree with you that most authors/artists wouldn't explain the meaning of their art. But that wasn't what I meant you should do. I was just asking for more context like what you were feeling at that time or what does this mean to you.

I wrote this poem when I was riding on a long bus ride on the way home and it reminded me of something that happened when I was younger.

When I wrote this poem, I hated the path I took in life. If only I could redo.

I didn't capitalize "i" cause it was a mistake OR on purpose because I don't view myself as important

I used the imagery of the purple colored lily because ISSTH is completed and I felt nostalgic about it just like I felt about my past. OR I used the imagery of the purple colored lily because "its origins tied to royalty and ceremony, purple flowers represent dignity, pride and success. Whether grouped alone in a bold range of rich hues or mixed in with other colors to provide depth and contrast, an arrangement filled with purple blooms represents accomplishment and admiration."

Next, in your example where you used "??? + ??? = 2", that equation already implies that there is only 1 answer and "destroys all other possibilities". But let's suppose an artist did provide the answer 1 + 1 = 2. By explaining the details (??? --> 1) doesn't have to mean that the message becomes less meaningful, if it is true (though I agree it can depending on the circumstance - at least not yours).

However, the meaning wasn't really what you were talking about. You were talking more about personal immersion, right? You believe that explaining the details would make the audience have a harder time putting themselves into your story. I'm sure some poems are like that, but I don't believe it is in this case (and many other poems). Actually having you explaining some details would help the audience know what was going on = allow them to relate to your story.

Not to mention, your poem is more like ??? + ??? = ??? from a ignorant reader's (mine) POV. I don't know if I'm making an accurate assessment of your art so I find it difficult to interpret, much less immerse myself.

Don't have to tell me if it was what you intended. Just to let you know.

So the first stanza is talking about a beautiful flower that's growing in a beautiful flower garden. I'm assuming you found the problem that was hiding within the "garden". A garden can symbolize something that is growing within reach of your responsibility so a girl or an addiction was hiding around people/things you cared and were responsible for?

The 2nd stanza is about how alcohol can make someone share something they don't intend. They shared a truth that would affect the future. And you were asking if the future is changed for the better after the secret was revealed? Don't know what stain of wine means though. It's sticky though.

3rd/4th stanzas are about being offered 2 paths. One path is where most people go to because it's more comforting. The right path (as in best path?) is the one of suffering.

Last stanza is about how you wonder why people can't change their paths? Or there were multiple paths that you didn't see when you were younger? Maybe relating to the path of choosing the purple lily?

Umm that's tutorial,of course if artists going to make tutorial they use their own works as examples, but in their product will they adding commentary about its meaning, they won't because they want the reader to immersed with their own lifes and clashing it with their art, unless it was special case like 'tribute' or character story.
The points is poem usually saying ??? + ??? = 2, the reader know the result as the poem, and the '???' Become their personal immersion.
But if artists giving 1+1 = 2 in the ending,it destroys all the other possibilities of answer.

It was just a suggestion that you add context to clarify your poem. After all, like you said, it is personal so I'd find the behind-the-scenes of your poems very interesting.

Also to show you an example of an author adding context to his poem, Edgar Allan Poe wrote in an essay "The Philosophy of Composition" where he describes some of the symbolism and progression of creating The Raven.
