THE SHADE OF SORROW
My shirt is red
The skies are blue
I may not be happy
But I will smile for you

The sand is white
The sea is teal
I can't say the words
But I'll make you feel

Your eyes are purple
Your lips pink
I kissed you farewell
As my heart sink

The leaves are green
The flowers are peach
I extended out my hands
But you're out of my reach

The dirt is brown
The ashes gray
I don't have forever
But I'll give you today

The night is black
The morning gold
Your blood is still warm
But your body is cold
