SECRET FRIEND
I feel invisible in the crowd
She tells me she feels that too
Yet every time we're under the limelight
Her words don't seem at all true

She says she feels miserable inside
And expectations crushes her
But why is it when she's on stage
Her words in my head, they blur

She assures me we are friends
But does friendship needs guarantee
Maybe she needs it for herself
Cause it's definitely not for me

She might be an amazing person
But I'm such an amazing friend
Though how would she ever know
When she doesn't act like one in her end

Really, I could not understand
Or maybe I pretend not to
Why it is me that is hurting
When I just try my best to help you

Still, perhaps I would remain like this
Just a friend under the shadows
But please, I hope you do take note
It hurts me whenever you act calloused

      @Tycheri, everyone's two-faced, that's just human nature. The only difference is why do those masks exist? Some are Wolves mixing with Sheep, others are Armor to hide a glass heart, and some are just trying to cover up a rotting face. The trick in life is to understand the purpose of the face you see.

      @Osamaru, sometimes it's just tiring. Maybe, if it was any other day, I'll be fine with anything they throw at me. Whoever they want to act like, I'll go with the flow. But not today.
