Okay, here's the thing. I dreamed just a couple minutes ago that I wasn't a human but rather, a being that's more vampire-mixed-demon.

Here's the settling: Within that dream, I was myself.

The place was where the Grand Canyon was located or somewhere similar to that place- as there was a lot of sand, large cliffs surrounding a greenish looking river, and barely any large trees. The trees were oddly old looking but it wasn't green and vitalized- it was barren and yet very strong.

In that dream, I was there at that location for a vacation or something similar- I can't recall the exact details as to why in the world did I go there.

I was wearing normal clothes that are fit for a hot weather and yet protective enough that when nights come, I won't be cold. I had a small, barely, there backpack with two large water bottle on the sides.

And no, I don't have any camera or such with me- I don't know why either.

When I was walking into the depth of that location- which I wasn't even sure if it was really the Grand Canyon- a small old town came into view.

These kinds of houses in that old town was very similar to how the 1800s houses in the West was like.

Outside, a large crowd of men came to welcome me. There were no women there at all.

this is where everything started to turn weird.

All of the men kneel down to me and called me, the Last Vampire Princess that's a woman.

And then- they started to demand me to marry their Last Prince- who in their words was as Fair as a Fairy- something which I knew right away that this dream was being influenced by Chinese Novels- because I am in the process of writing a couple novels with ML looking like that.

I rejected of course- because even in the dream- I knew that I was married already. And yes- I just got married- we had our wedding ceremony just a week and so go- on the 8th of September.

Those men started to turn furious. Their expression started to turn very creepy and sinister as fangs came out from their mouth.

And then here's the strange thing- I suddenly was able to use metal-or-something similar- wires that came out of my fingers and killed all of those men. Because they were threatened me to marry their Prince.

When I was in the process of killing those beings off- I don't feel anything. That's the thing. I should at least feel something like fear, excitement, or annoyance- whichever one it was that was more appropriate in that situation. But the thing is- I don't feel anything. Not even disgust as those men's heads went off their necks.

Using the wires, and some strange arts or magic or whatever it was, I summoned up trees from these sandy grounds- trees that were bared of their leaves and any vitality that they had but was oddly strong. Strong enough to support the metal wires that were coming out from my hand.

I used those wires and connected them around and all over the trees- when a large group of men came out from nowhere and started to fight with me. Now, let's be honest here- even in a dream- I knew that I am not athleticism enough- nor strong enough to fight that many men at once. Because it looks like there was at least 50 to 100 men easily that was coming out from nowhere. So, I climbed up to the largest and biggest bared tree that I had summoned out and waited for the [I guess] vampires to come to me instead.

They did come to me- but suddenly the wires that I wrap around the surrounding trees started to cut them into pieces. Within a couple seconds- more like 5 to 7 seconds at most- every man had their heads, hands, legs, bodies, and whatever else cut off. And they all died.

I still didn't feel anything- no fear, anticipation- nothing. I waited in the trees for a while- as I look and watches my surround. But seeing and knowing- how I don't know- that there was no more of those men- I came down to the ground and summoned up a wooden bench to sit on. By then- it was already night time.

A couple of minutes? Hours? I don't know- passed by as I sit on that bench- not that I was feeling tired or anything. That's when I notice- why was I sitting down and looking at the stars when there are a bunches of corpses surround me. I can even smell the smell of blood- something which I can recognize because I bleed a lot when I get injuries. I stretch my heads.

Yeah- there's something wrong here.

This was when- suddenly- an old looking man- Asian looking but had Western European feathers- suddenly was sitting beside me. There was no sounds or any indication that he has been there for a while. He was just there. Suddenly. I didn't panic nor was I surprised. I was like I knew that he would come.

He calmly looks at me and smiles warmly.

He then looks at the sky full of stars- and said;

"I knew that this was going to happen. 150 Rank A Vampires couldn't do anything to you. I told that boy but he wasn't listening. Now, they are all dead." He said this so soft and warm that I had to say to myself- who the hell is this old man?

Knowing that this old man won't hurt me, emotional, physical or otherwise, I sit by him and look at the stars with him.

A couple silence minutes went by- I think- who knows how times went by in dreams are.

And then the old man suddenly called my name- my real name in real life- and said, "How's living a human life goes for you? It has been more than 2000 years since the last time that I saw you and you suddenly decided to live as a human." The old man had asked- with curiosity in his voice and a very interesting glint in his old yet vitality eyes.

I didn't answer him. I knew that I Can't answer him with words- but for some reason I knew that talking in that dream with that old man will wake me up from this dream world so I didn't talk with him. Instead, I remember my husband who I just married, my parents, my younger idiotic brothers, my in-laws who made me slightly nervous and yet anticipating at times, and the peoples that I knew in real life and I smiled.

I didn't answer the old man but I just smile at him. This caused the old man to froze as he looks at my face.

And then he said, "Was it that good? Living a human life was that satisfying? This was the first time in the 3000 years of knowing you that I see you smile with contentment. Was living a human really worth it?" The old man had asked me. I just nodded at him.

"Even though human lives are short? Even though your loved ones will die on you as you watch on?" The old man asked. I just nodded at him with a smile on my face. I don't know what kind of face I made but for sure- this surprised the old man so badly that he sighed out loud with a hand over his chest.

He then sighs out loud and said, "Maybe, just maybe, I should learn how to live and be a human for once. Maybe then, I would get to know why someone like you, who could live for millions of years and continue to live on even if this Earth is destroyed, was willing to live as a human, born as a human, again and again." The old man said with a sad and longing smile on his face.

And just like that, as sudden as that old man came, he vanished as fast. I didn't even blink when he vanished from his spot.

Still feeling nothing- no fear, no anticipation, or nervous that the old man had suddenly vanished. I continue to look up at the sky full of stars until the sun came up in the morning. The scenes were so beautiful- as the sky turns light pink, orange, and slightly purple as the sun raised up.

Before I knew it, a scent came from behind me.

I scent that I barely knew of living in a city full of human activities but could still recognize it from when I was younger.

It was a scent of forestry. I don't know how to describe it. I just knew that this smell was the smell of forestry.

I turned around and behind me was a large, very large, forest.

A girl with short hair white hair was standing behind me.

Who? How? When? Those question when through my mind but I didn't bother asking her.

That girl looked oddly familiar. Like I knew her from somewhere before. In real life. Back when I was still living in Thailand with my family- out in the country farmland. Where I used to play in the forest behind my house. She looks like someone I knew from then- but I can't remember who.

Her height was about the same as mine- which I admitted was short. Her hair was all white- like totally white. Her eyebrows were white. Her eyes were dark green with something else that I can't make out in it. The right side of her hair was longer than the left. Her bang was parted right in the middle. The clothes that she wore was oddly greek-style. Only, it doesn't show her skins at all.

She smiles so warmly at me. The smile was warm but it contains a nostalgia looks on it for some odd reason.

"Thank you for setting me free," she said with a soft, gentle, and pure smile on her face.

And then- I wake up. The dream ends here. I woke up to my husband hugging me tight because he had a slight-weird-creepy- dream.

As I am typing this out- It is only 11:52 PM here. And yes- I told my husband of this dream. He was the one that told me to write it out.

So, I did.
