The baby of protagonist is 90% always a boy

I really dont get why most of billionaire ML and Mary sue MC chinese novels always have their protagonists have one night stand and then there is a baby in the story. Moreover why is the baby is always a boy. It is a thing??

      I think they have boys most of the time because most are chinese novels. And the situation of the MC would be better when they have boys than when they have girls, usually dealing with mother in laws esp from the ML side most of the time

      I pointed this out in one of my threads. I think the reason many authors stick with this kind of plot was for financial reasons. There are so many of these stories that I can safely assume that these stories are in demand and popular. I guess I can summarize it into, "When there's a demand, there's a supply." Thankfully, The Female Lead Has No Cheats has a girl instead of a boy. I don't know man, I wish I am part of the Chinese market so I can support struggling authors who refused to stick with popular tropes and actually established a creative story.
