The summary and the title made this story to be in light tone and happy feel, but it's far from those. It's a bit of angst, gut wrenching heart soaking teary story. Tho some part was a bit Eh? and why/how moment, but me just let it be lol.

Li YuanMin was the forgotten unfavor third prince, the emperor hated him for he was intersex. In the previous life, as puppet emperor he just hung himself before the rebel entered the capital. In this life, he was determined not to be a pawn anymore. So he planned and took step forward to dismiss himself from the capital.

Li YuanMin hated his body, being scorned by his father, and how every men looked at him with lust. He developed very careful even to the point of coward mindset ever since he reborned. The traitor in the title was the leader of the rebel back then named Ni Lie. In two life, Ni Lie was the son of the country general but his father fell into scheme and branded as traitor. The only children left were Ni Lie and Ni Ying, both were 10 and 4year old. Ni Ying was a slave maid in brothel and Ni Lie was used by the 2nd prince to fight in his animal house.In previous life, Li YuanMin also helped him to escape alone disguised as palace maid and it took Ni Lie so much time and sacrifice to get all back. This time he decided to help Ni Lie and himself out of the capital. back then, Ni Lie didnot get to save his sister, but this time Li YuanMin took it to himself to save her and to save Ni Lie's beast side so he didnot turn into previous life's cruel tyrant.

What's interesting and somewhat frustrating for me, was that eventhough MC was a reborn character but he was not OP, the cause and effect law was naturally working. For exmple, he wanted to save his only friend from death and to save the traitor who was still a child also to escape from the capital together with the child. As a result, he lost his friend's trust since he used his friend to help him unknowingly. Or when he wanted to block a corrupt official from killing people with heavy taxes from certain area, it was a success. But, the corrupt official still went to find another area to steal. Li Yuan Min was scared and afraid that the more he interfere all the events he knew would change and knowing the unknown was scary for him. ​

Ni Lie plot line in his reborn life was so damn crazy! I still have ?? of where'd the other soul go to??

At first, it was a very normal story with all those same theme, reborn + planning revenge + palace politic intrigue + war + cold very infatuated ML. And then it went BOOM. Every plot that I so used to read was nowhere. And, not only one, two, three but four reborn characters! lol
