I never expected that from one of the theories in theory of personality, I would cry so much. I realized a lot of things. Although I can't say that I fully understand myself now, I gained some understandings.

      While the prof was discussing those theories she will always tell us to reflect on them. As I go on reading I kept on thinking, "who am I? Am I really like the one described?" It's not easy to accept that deep inside you was something so bad.

      @pass1478 wow. Being told that really hurts but we got to face the truth for us to truly change. I remember when my prof was discussing the psychotherapy of Adler, he would ask his patients after going thru this therapy what should you do? It will help the patient to have a goal and think.

      @amaliajun I will. (◍•ᴗ•◍) But then I remembered my prof telling us that if we just want to heal ourselves or to understand ourselves thru studying psychology, we shouldn't continue pursuing it. Later on I realized that healing ourselves is not enough to pursue this program. We need to have a goal and ask ourselves aside from yourself why are you still taking this?

      I, too, once got very emotional after a self-realization. It was when someone called me a shallow, fickle, and egotistic attention-whore. It's been years now, so I've changed. I'm now good at hiding those attributes of mine.

      You made me remember my first year.
      Studying psychology is not just to learn about other people but also our selves~ My lecturer once said, those that chose to study this line aren't just to seek knowledge to heal other's hearts(as psychologist later) but also to heal their selves.

      Oh, I once cried heavily at class too!!
