I still couldnt believe I mtl a cultivation theme novel. This, I dont know whether it's xianxia or xuanhuan, but there were immortal, righteous and evil sect, 4 races: human, monster/beast, demon or animal that could cultivate, and underworld/ghost, there's also system inside the MC's bracelet.

Ling ZiXi transmigrated or so he thought to this novel world and his bracelet came too and there the system woke up and asked to do the task. Ling ZiXi was of half demon (a fox and a demon grass bloodline) and half human. His fate was of the canon fodder route for his cousin the protagonist then got stabbed by his husband after his demon blood awaken. His cousin's fate was protected by the protagonist's halo, everyone believed him and everything went well for him, his name was Ran RongChe. Ran RongChe used Ling ZiXi as his first step to obtain the top, to make matter worse he badmouthed Lin ZiXi so everyone thought Ling ZiXi was the bad child. Kid Ling ZiXi was a naive, stupid, timid and honest kid, he believed his cousin and thought only he was kind to him. Ling and Ran's (also Bai's the ML family) parents were gone to a secret realm, when both were 3yo and not coming back since then, they all said they were dead. Since then Ling ZiXi misfortune was started. A child without parents only a weak mortal grandpa was good cause to be bullied. They took all his resources to cultivate and left him weak.

Ling ZiXi was trickced by Ran RongChe to take his place to marry Bai MoHeng (they had agreement to marry since birth, but Ran didnt want to limit himself to one person, he wanted to take advantages of his admirer's resources). Ling ZiXi loved Bai MoHeng, the little fox agreed and thought dreamily but everything was as bleak as the cold black sea. Bai MoHeng was the genius of the genius, had the rarest spiritual roots and the future leader of his sect. He believed all the bad rumor of Ling ZiXi, also that he forced Ran RognChe to let him marry if not he'd kill himself. And in the wedding night, he believed Ling ZiXi put something to make them did it. However that was of the Bai handwriting, Bai MoHeng was poisoned with gu, and the Bai thought to help him, he needed another person to take the pain. So, Ling ZiXi was poisoned with the gu too, and needed his husband to help each other every year. Since Bai MoHeng didnot treat his husband nicely, the Bai family also didnot take this little fox as the husband of their family's head. Bai MoHeng live in the sect, only knew he gave moeny and resources to the family for Ling Zixi, but it never reached to Ling ZiXi and their 3 children, they went hungry, treated badly, bullied, and neglected. Several Bai family poisoined their children, to prevent another rise of Bai MoHeng because they wanted all the resources and glory for themselves. The 1st couldnot cultivate correctly because someone put an array to block. 2nd was a bit slow in the brain because the poison. 3rd was poisoned too and it made him wanting to be fox all the time. And 4th, yeah Ling ZiXi found out he was pregnant again, the 4th and him were also poisoned in his womb.

Ling ZiXi was so fed up with this scum gong. He wanted to divorce his husband! And take his cute little foxes out of the Bai. While also doing the tasks system gave to him, since there were rewards to buy from the system's store. And with system's help, he knew what poisons and how to cure his sons. His sons were pretty understanding and even pity their stupid father. All they wanted was to grow, to cultivate so they could protect him and brothers. Oooh, when Bai MoHeng found out how his family treated his husband and children, he was very angry, and dealt with them and closed the door for them to ever be on the pedestal again, and cut off their familial relation. But too bad, 7years of neglect was long, for children they could see how their fathers treated them and which one loved them. I love it, because Ling ZiXi didnot have the weak heart just because he loved the man before and waited for him for 7years. Ling ZiXi divorced his husband, and refused any help from his ex husband. Even when Bai MoHeng tried to make thigns right, ask forgiveness, Ling ZiXi ignored all that, He only allowed him to get close with them because Bai MoHeng tried to nurture his relationship with his children again.

The author used so many characters, different plot for some too and in some point I think the author wanted to expand the story more, but alas it didnt happen. So it only centered around Ling ZiXi, his issues with his bloodlines, his struggle to find ingredients for his sons' medz, Bai MoHeng found out that he might be controlled that made him neglected his family back then and the truth of the truth, cultivate cultivate, and the wooing ofc.

Some parts are not satisfied but it's a surprise for me to read a cultivation theme that went so fast and not too complicated in their cultivation building.
