Shen YuHan was acclaimed as the number one ger in the Qi kingdom. His parents, brothers loved and spoiled him as their treasure. They didnt even bother to marry him (the person himself also didnt mind) and let him live carefree. But after decree of marriage from an emperor of much stronger neighboring country, they had to send him away as bride. But in the way, bandit made him fell of the cliff, died and transmigrated to the modern time as the orphan Shen YuHan who had lost his parents and grandfather and had the opposite behaviour, attitude and brain with him that made him to be swindled by messy friends.

Shen YuHan was imprisoned temporarily by one of his future in law because they were afraid he'd escape again. After one week he managed to calm his mind, and even used the 'prison' time to learn things. Shen YuHan didnt get any 'memory' from the original, or even how to operate and read the writing. So, he tried his best to learn how to act and pretend normally as not to be accused of sorcery.

Shan QiHuan was the 3rd son of the main wife of the Shan family. Shan father didnot divorce his first wife, but didnot marry his 3 other mistresses and instead let them and their children to live together in one house (sort of like the ancient). We'd find out in the end why his father did this and why his mother like that. Everybody said the Shan family was powerful and wealthy but very messy (no wonder). Shan QiHuan big Shan family feud was pretty much the royal feud in ancient. Changed the throne with Shan group heir. The feud between the legitimate children and illegitimate, and the first wife and the mistresses.

Shan QiHuan accepted his father arrangement to marry his friend's grandson eventhough he didnt like Shen YuHan the prodigal son who actually liked his half brother. After the marriage to prevent his husband ran away to find his half brother who didnt like him at all, he arranged Shen YuHan to attend all kinds of practical classes like calligraphy, dancing, painting, piano, cooking, flower arrangement, etc to the point Shen YuHan's schedule for 5days were jam packed. Shen YuHan himself was happy because all that was what he coudl understand and was very good at them.

Shen YuHan attitude toward his husband was the very attitude of what he had been taught by his mother and how he was expected to. Shan QiHuan was very helpless toward his husband who easy to cry, weak with cold weather, squeamish and liked to seduce him to complete the marriage (according to him, tho in a way he was correct). At first he wanted to act indifferent and even cold to him, but it was not easy to escape from Shen YuHan innocent eyes that always made him unable to say no. Also he was scared of making him cry lol Thus, they started to learn how to stir their marriage life.

Shen YuHan time would be spent to learn the modern education in secret. At first he faked it as being weak and asked his husband help all the time so he could see how to do things that he didnot know. For example how to open a can of cola, operating smart phone, how to eat steak, how to use knife and fork, etc. At frst, Shan QiHuan considered him as too spoiled and purposely made/punished him to serve Shen YuHan like asking him to cut the steak, bought him everything he asked for, operating smartphone, registered app and downloading app. It was so funny. Shan QiHuan even thought maybe in previous life he owed him thus he needed to serve him this time lol But this attitude made his husband paid attention to him more and consequently it made them to have more conversation and interacted.

Shen YuHan still embraced his ancient's teaching, his pride as the number one ger, and confused over modern people's way of thinking. For example, when they went to stay in hotel, all the bed sheets, pillow and the furniture color were basically white. He said 'it is like a mourning hall.' And even made Shan QiHuan to shiver for a while lol The way this ancient man tried his best to adapt was very slow but very understandable. The culture shock should be very very very big. Eventhough there was things he liked from the mdoern thinking, he still firmly held his ancient's teaching. He still missed his family, and everytime he drunk he'd cry saying he wanted to go home. It's very real this aspect of him. I think this part of him is what making me interested to still reading it. Well ancient to modern transmigration and the character doesnot have the wish to be a modern person from the very start of his life back then and now.
