So I have known about this site for a long time now...years actually and I never really thought much about it. It wasn't until I started getting into danmei novels that I decided to fully check the site out and I regret missing out so much!! :blob_teary:

Like seriously...what was wrong with past me :blobexpressionless:

For a long time, I was reluctant to try this out thinking that I won't be interested in it. But to be fair, I've kinda lost a lot of interest in a lot of things. Everything seemed boring. It wasn't until I was introduced to the MDZS donghua that I've found something to get obsessed with again. I love reading, love love love it!! But when you read a lot, you sometimes get the feeling that you've read it all or that the new stories you've read isn't as good as before. (This is the same feeling I got when watching current anime)

So MDZS for me was such a breath of fresh air and an introduction to something new! The more I browse this site, the more excited I feel that there's so much more I can read that has such rich stories and world-building and amazing characters. I really missed this feeling! :aww:

Anyway, I have also been looking for a forum site for a long time. I enjoy interacting in forums because it doesn't require you to immediately reply unlike some of the social media sites we have. I tend to get a bit socially awkward so everytime I see my message being 'read' or if someone I've been messaging sees that I'm reading their message, it stresses me out so much lol..makes me feel that I must reply immediately. So forums? The best.

The only other forum I fully used and enjoyed was in dollars-worldwide (from durarara). After it shutdown (I think), I haven't found any forum site that I like, I've tried some but there's usually something that makes me dislike it - like the layout, how everything is set up, it looks suspicious etc.

I went into NU thinking it's just a review site where you can track what novels you've read and what?! like hello why did I not see it's a forum as well?? :blob_catflip:

So far I am enjoying checking things out. This is a lesson for me to actually try something new once in a while and not form an opinion without actually trying it. There's a lot I haven't figured out yet but I think I'll be here for a long time so looking forward to find friends here~ :blobsmilehappy:
